Hi all, I'm having issues with my iPhone 6 and the Amundsen system in my Octy. They are connected via bluetooth fine and I can make and receive phone calls and stream music over bluetooth but I don't get alert sounds when I receive a text or Whatsapp message. I can read my text messages via the Amundsen unit but the only reason I know there is a message is because the phone has vibrated in my pocket. I don't even get the keyboard click sound when I'm sitting waiting for swmbo whilst she's at the shops. I've checked the settings on both the iPhone and the Amundsen unit and have even resorted to RTFM but can't find any setting in either that will allow these tones. Any ideas?? I head up the A9 to Dalwhinnie then across to Spean Bridge. The kids used to get car sick almost every journey and the A84 around Loch Lubnaig were a bit twisty for them. Drove up to Skye (actually Raasay) & back yesterday and the fuel warning light came on coming along the Edinburgh bypass (around 4 miles from home) saying range was down to 60 miles. Tank took 42 litres to fill again & gauge was reporting a fuel consumption figure of 52mpg.

Cheers for that pipsyreturns. A quick check shows the Audi A4 has a 70 litre tank and the BMW has a 63 litre tank. I agree, a bigger tank would be better. Even the VW Golf has a 60 litre fuel tank

Glad to hear that as I've just picked up my 16MY Octavia VRS TDi less than 48 hours ago and was concerned that the 'Range' was only saying 370 miles with a full tank of diesel. My previous two cars reported over 550 mile ranges with a full tank of fuel.

I've had my Metal Grey Octavia VRS TDi estate for less than 48 hours and have only covered 80 miles so far but so far so good. It reminds me of my Audi A4 Avant TDi 130 Sport (same colour as well) in it's power delivery and acceleration. The VRS will get a good run on Friday when I have an approximate 470 mile round trip from Midlothian to Isle of Skye to drop SWMBO and kids at her mothers for 3 weeks. The only thing that does concern me slightly is the range is saying only 370 miles with a full tank of diesel where my previous two cars (the Audi and a BMW 318d M Sport) both showed a range of 550 miles with a full tank of diesel.

I collect my new Octavia VRS on Monday so hope this problem is fixed with my car.

Hi all, As the title says, I'm new to Skoda & I have a 2015 Octavia VRS diesel estate in Metal Grey coming on Monday 6th July after being very impressed with the build quality of a golfing friends car. Car history: 10 BMW 318d M Sport saloon - handled well but not practical as a family saloon due to rear seats not folding 54 Audi A4 Avant 1.9TDi 130 Sport - great car with loads of torque & pulled like a train 98 Volvo S40 1.8 CD - slow and thirsty - bought as wife was pregnant Before that I owned a number of VW Golfs including a couple of Mk2 GTi's. I'm looking forward to taking ownership of the Octavia and hope it's like a newer version of my previous Audi.
