  1. I'll ask the chap who mapped it then mate fingers crossed cheers
  2. Where is the best place in the west mids to get popcorn limiter and launch control fitted allready had remap will it work alongside this or will it need a complete remap to make it work?
  3. Sounds like yours could be the dmf breaking up mate do you get a rattle on tick over that disappears or changes when you dip the clutch?
  4. I think mine is the bottom engine mount or dog bone gonna change it soon it's not a massive vibration and it's intermittent so not worried too much atm But let me know if it cures yours plz mate
  5. Anyone got any -30/35mm lowering springs for sale in West mids area?
  6. Scanned for fault codes at work only one coming up is egr low threshold but that's because I'm running egr delete mate
  7. I have an irritating vibration under hard acceleration between 2200/3000 rpm. But it is intermittent first time I noticed it was o Friday after I'd driven hard for a couple of miles down a nice stretch of curved road . pulled up to drop a mate off and on driving home noticed it . next day I got in it and it had gone didn't return till Sunday when I'd driven to barmouth . round barmouth and surrounding areas on snd off all day . then half way back it comes back . I had been giving it the beans but no more than the rest of the day really so can't understand why it took aprox 160 miles to show itself again. Can't see it being flywheel cos it's genuine sachs and only a week old. And would have thought if it was dual mass fault it would be there every time. Also it seems to be coming from under the bonnet behind the glove box area. Tried it with and without air filter in incase it was clogged and causing the air box to vibrate under hard supply. No difference. Around the same time I started hearing a boost leak and have now changed all the seals from egr delete to the intercooler seems better but still slight sucking noise so will investigate further. But can't see them being linked really just coincidence. Only thing I can think of is maybe the dog bone is weak or split and every now n then moves to a position that causes vibration. But then that do t make sense that when I pull up with the vibration it's gone once it's cooled down the next day. So far I've had a few people say dmf but like I said it's only a week old and genuine sachs oem someone said maybe vnt sticky in turbo. It it doesn't seem to affect power (maybe a little) and would it cause the vibration? Help meeeeee

  11. Lmao. I put big spaces between each paragraph/sentence when I'm typing g in but my stupid phone puts it up like im a moron lol
  12. Look I'm a mechanic do I know what to check for and as the pads are unknown ill change them anyway the vac pipe is fine and the callipers aren't siezed all I was asking was is it a common problem obviously yes and what are people's opinions on the best oem pads from their experience because as a mechanic I know that all pads font necessarily perform the same on all cars being told my driving style is inadequate and I need to look further ahead I'd just insulting as I've been driving 22 yrs and not had a smash yet when I said braking from speed I didn't state what speed also why do people (not all of you some have made use full comments) seem to think if you ask a question or people's opinion you are a complete moron or a novice to all this like I said I've been a mechanic about 25 years and at no point have I ever stopped learning more about mechanics. And one last grind why is there all ways an argument and insulting tournament every time there's a difference of opinion yes the brakes are inadequate if you drive hard or depending on conditions but yes if you drive within the limits of the brakes there is no problem all resolved now kiss n make up rant over thanks to those who made use full comments lots of love and kisses rob xxxxx
  13. Now now calm down calm down think ill be going the 312 route when the discs are shot but for now decent pads will have to do lol cheers for the advice peeps
