My car over heat light went on whilst driving saying see manual. The car temp was right up then I stoped the temperature moved to the middle. I checked the water all seems fine. Just wondering what that would be

Is there anything they can do to rectify it as I'm having the same problem on my OCTAVIA VRS 64 plate. They have told me it's a carataristic of the car. TBH I am not really happy with the answer. No fault is coming up on there computers. Any advice of what to do next would be great Thanks
