  1. This happened overnight so no question of any buttons on key fob being pressed. I will investigate the auto window opening - it appears possible to disable it via the CAR button on Columbus so I'll give it a try. Not sure why anybody would want to open all the windows with the key fob anyway! Thanks for pointing me in this direction.
  2. On both occasions it has happened overnight - keys in house and immobile so no question of any buttons being held down.
  3. On two occasions my car has spontaneously unlocked, unfolded the door mirrors and lowered every window. On each occasion the alarm warning light was still flashing so I can only assume that the alarm was still set. It's going to the service centre to be checked out but, meanwhile, I'm somewhat paranoid about parking it anywhere other than at home - especially when it's raining! Has anybody else experienced this problem? Car has KESSY, which may be the cause of the problem, but I can't reconcile this with the windows being lowered.
  4. Yes, standard wheels on mine. The brochure I have shows 129 for the manual but 134 for the DSG.
  5. Xenons, rear camera, park assist, variable boot floor, winter pack and definitely adaptive cruise - a brilliant invention which I use all the time.
  6. I have Bi-Xenons with AFS on my Scout and they seem to work well. Dipping is prompt (haven't been flashed by any oncoming cars yet) and the cornering headlamps are very useful in country lanes.
  7. R22JG My 184 DSG Scout is MY 2016 and the V5 shows CO2 as 134 G/KM
  8. I bought through New-Car-Discount.com this year - the first time in over 50 years that I've not used a dealer. Their service was first class, friendly and completely trouble-free and £6k discount on a list price of £34k was the icing on the cake. More than happy to recommend them.
  9. According to my brochure (Nov 2014) the manual Scout is 129 and the DSG 134.
  10. I, too, have mine permanently deactivated. The constant "nudges" on the steering wheel are so aggravating and I got fed up with fighting them. I get enough nannying from the state without the car joining in. Adaptive cruise control, however, is a different matter altogether - superb!
  11. The Columbus has a CD (and DVD) player but it is no longer possible to copy CDs to the Columbus's hard drive - this facility has been disabled. Since the CD player is hidden away in the glove box it's a physical impossibility to change a CD while driving so it's a rather worthless bit of kit.
  12. Thanks andyvee - I'll give it a try. If only they had put an addendum in the manual it would have saved me hours of frustration!
  13. Having just taken delivery of a new Scout I'm trying to download from CD player to Jukebox in Columbus. I've tried Set up - Manage Jukebox - import, but all available sources in the next menu are "greyed out" so cannot be selected. Am I doing something wrong or is the unit faulty?
  14. I have the same query - having just taken delivery of a new Scout. I spoke to a dealer some months ago before ordering and was given an approximate cost of £400 for the genuine article. Unfortunately most cheaper sources appear only to sell sets of 4. Since it's only a spare to be used in an emergency I think anything of the right size from a scrapyard is the answer. Why were manufacturers ever allowed to stop providing a proper spare?
