How do you widen the power band on the turbos ? They only have short bursts on power in each gear and was wondering how to get them pulling hard all the way to 5k rpm? Thanks in advance.

Hahaha, quality! He saw "tuning box" n probz thought it gives him bigger ratios lol.
-
I also noticed he said mapped box, absolutely no idea what he's on about here.
-
Just to clarify its not my car or my claims. Was a guy on Facebook on the vrs page that made this claim.
-
Tom, they do more then 124mph standard ? Idk as I don't own one yet. (Will do shortly)
-
Not sure, he didn't say. Are his claims realistic for the mods he has ?

So was on Fabia vRS owners group on Facebook and a guy claims his does 164mph (according to his GPS). I asked his specs an he replied; -Pd160 hybrid with billet wheel -Cupra FMIC -Hard pipe kit -EGR delete -Full miltek exhaust -Racing clutch -Mapped Ecu and box I have no RR figures because he says he's never had it on a rolling road. I find it very hard to believe a diesel fabby can achieve this speed but stand to be corrected. What's ur thoughts ppl ?

Hi, il shortly be looking to purchase a standard mk1 fabia vrs but I'm unsure what the average prices are for them. Had a scan on eBay but prices vary massively. Seen a modified one with stage 2 etc for £1800 then there's standard ones for £2500-£3000+ What price should I be expecting to pay for a good exampled standard one please ?

Thanks for the reply, appreciated.

Hi, new to the forum and looking for advise from experienced fabia vrs owners. Planning on buying one very shortly. - what mpg do these offer, round town, motorway run and average ? I have read a few threads but answers vary from ppl getting 30-40 odd mpg and other ppl claim to get 50-60mpg. Is 60mpg possible on these ? - I've read up the shark remap seem to me most popular for these, but what does this offer exactly. Because I was hoping to find a remap that adds good power gains for when putting your foot down but also better then standard mpg when part throttle. Might be a bit optimistic of me but does such a remap exist, or is it a case of one or the other ? - and finally would a stage one remap require an uprated clutch or would the standard one be sufficient ? Sorry if these are answers asked before but I seem to be getting mixed results from other threads I have read from google searches. Thanks in advance people.
