  1. Car was sold this weekend after a long drawn out import process. Thanks to all of you who showed interest. Ian
  2. @ Stephen946, Hi Stephen, No, not yet. Import process has been started (to regain the V5 it had before I exported to Belgium in 2009) - I cannot sell it without the V5. I have another interested party and a back up of a local garage....If you want to talk further feel free to PM me...
  3. @ Mattc: have replied to your second PM - sorry for the delay...
  4. Hi all, I have a 2006 Fabia vRS to sell. The car is a UK car that I imported to Belgium when it was around 2 years old. Finally my wife would like a LHD car over here so I am in the process of re-importing back into the UK. It will be back in the UK in the York area on Friday 24th July and Saturday 25th July (a.m.). I’ll take off the Belgian plates and begin the import process – hopefully should be done within 2-3 weeks. I assume the car will return to the original UK plates in the photo but this will need to be confirmed. The original UK headlamps have been re-fitted and the LHD units will be put in the boot of the car in case anyone wants these…. The car has been well looked after and has a good spec. It has not been mechanically modified or tuned (never got around to it…) but it is has a few added extras. Mileage is really low (just over 45k miles once I have driven it up to York), and the photos show it has been regularly serviced at a local garage here. It has had new suspension bushes upfront, new rear shocks and, due to a numpty with a tow bar and no sense of direction, a new front bumper (just done). It has two sets of wheels: Rial 17” wheels with 50% wear on 205/40 Continental ContisportContact 3 tyres Original 16” vRS wheels with very nearly new 195/50 Toyo winter tyres The spec of the car: Black Magic Metallic, leather interior, electric sunroof, cruise control, rear parking sensors, heated seats. I fitted a pretty reasonable stereo – the head unit is a Becker Mexico with ipod connectivity and handsfree Bluetooth car kit, two Alpine amps including a small one to power the sub (sound quality rather than quantity was the target…). The subwoofer lifts out if not needed. The front speakers are behind the original grilles. The original head unit is available and included. Also fitted was a sound deadening kit. As I live and work in Belgium I would need to come over to do a deal to sell the car so I’d appreciate serious interest only… I won’t be able to sell the car on the Friday or Saturday when I come over first as will not have a V5 yet but if you are local I’d be only too happy to meet up to show you the car. I was hoping for around £4500 given all the bits included and the low mileage… As I am a virgin poster to this site I hope this is all OK.. I can send HQ photos directly to those interested... Thanks
