Now then.... I got me new octavia VRS yesterday and it's the balls! However I can't find the TV Or Dvd function on the Columbus system. I guess the dvd might work when I Bosch a disk in, but I can't figure how to access the TV. It's a Columbus with canton and I use an iPhone 6plus. Any advice would be appreciated. Ta muchly

So I learned that my VRS is sat awaiting PDI at my local dealers....so after hours I sneaked onto the forecourt and there she is...still wrapped up it protective transport decals and tape like an Xmas Present. Loads of photos taken, kinda cool to see it with all the seats and paintwork still wrapped up. As s On as I can bloody figure it out I'll pop a couple of pics on here.

Hi mate, I'm currently awaiting delivery of my Octavia and I feel your pain! I added skoda UK on Facebook and simply messaged them on there. They can take up to a day to reply but they are really good and helpful. I found out when mine was built, when it was being loaded onto the boat and when it landed here in the UK....that was yesterday! The last corresondance I had stated it was in the UK and should be with my dealer within approximately 10 days. I called my dealer and updated them So yeh, just pester them on fbook. They will wNt build no, your details and whether it's a personal purchase etc..

As I say, I am that nightmare nagging and persistent customer....don't know if that has anything to do with it, or they are just efficient and I have been lucky....saying that, it's not at dealers yet..........

Bit of an update on my build. Ordered on 13th June and, after nagging Skoda, I learned hat it landed in the UK today and should be with my dealer within ten days. Super!

robbySpurs, how you tracking yours? I'm just calling them all the time and being a pain! Looks like we're gonna be on the same ship.

Steveo, Yeh I bought mine from a dealer in Workington, Cumbria and I'll be collecting it from there

Think the Columbus only has 5.1 surround when paired with the Canton setup.....I think!

I'm a persistent pain in the ar*3 for Skoda. I call them and pester them on Facebook for updates and I tell you what, each and every time I have called just to check or confirm something, the service I have received has been first class. I can't credit them enough for the quality of customer care so far and the positive and friendly attitudes of all who I have had the pleasure of contacting. Good work Skoda, you have retained my custom for many years!

Just called soda UK directly. Mine has been bolted together and its on a train to emdem port! happy days. The fella also confirmed shutdown at week 32 and 33. Of note, the track my soda website states it's still awaiting a manufacturing date! That website is for customers of certain dealers I imagine. Just so people have an idea, I placed my order on 13th June. Spec is: Octavia VRS Kombi in race blue Red stitching Black pack Tow bar ( sorry) Columbus with canton Privacy glass Winter pack Protection pack So I don't think options delay a build at all.

Have watched that before...think it's the mk2 Octavia but there is a 6 min video of the current one too....damn I'm sad! I watched it earlier with the wife. She was bored to say the least.
