Hi. Selling my Fabia VRS. Colour: Red Miles: 174200 MOT till 10 June 2018 Two owners, including me. First owner was a middle aged woman. Full history. In the last 12 months its had: Major service, with fluids changed. New air con pump/condenser at the same time. Remapped to 175 bhp, at the same time as the EGR was Removed. Apexi air filter. New turbo + turbo pipes. new clutch 5 weeks ago. lowered (30 mm) Loads of bills and paperwork. Everything works as it should. 3 Keys There is a bit paint bubbling around the tailgate handle and numberplate light. There's small hole in the drivers side seat, in the bolster. There's 2 new numberplate lights, not been fitted. Bonnet gone a bit milky. I have the EGR valve and air box. Car is in good condition for its age. Good guide, thanks. When you say "metalwork" do you mean the double levers, instead of just the single fuel release lever. (The levers on the floor at the side of the drivers seat) Cheers.

Hi I'm thinking of changing my seats i'm Fabia vrs mk1 2004. Can anyone give some idea of any seats that bolt straight in ? I've read that Audi a3/s3 will fit, that's about it really. Cheers..

I have found out from my mechanic, it is genuine sensor..

If it was the sensor, would it do it more often though ? Cheers

I had a new camshaft sensor fitted on my Fabia 2004 VRS a few ago. But the last few weeks I've had a problem. It seems when the cars been stood for a few days., it turns over more than usual before starting. Then after a few yards it cuts out. It always starts up again. It only does it now and then. Anyway yesterday,I did a scan and it came up with the same camshaft fault again. (Camshaft Position Sensor P3007 No Signal - Intermittent & Camshaft Position Sensor P0341 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent). Today, it start straight away and no cutting out. Any ideas ?? Cheers.

Right. Found the problem, when i fitted my cone filter, I block up the vacuum pipe going to the air box, this was done on someone's advice. I unblocked the said pipe and the cars been running fine for the last few days. Now today i have blue/oil smoke coming out the back and i have noticed when i turn the engine off the turbo is making a bad noise, sounds like a bearing type noise. as it slows down. Not good. Looks like new turbo after all. Any ideas ? Cheers.

Heyup Lads. Need some advice. I've had new turbo pipes (4) fitted this week, due to having a problem with the old ones being worn and letting air in causing black smoke etc... Now there's a fault code coming up with boost condition (over boost) and and the car going into limp mode. But also when this happens, the car hold back, loses power and there is a bloody horrible metallic gratering/grinding noise, like something trying to seize up, plus black smoke out the back. What i've read and people i've spoke to all seems to point to the turbo on its way out. Is it worth bothering having the turbo cleaned ? Or just have it replaced ? The car is a 2004 vrs and done 170000 mls. Its on the original turbo !! Cheers Pete.

Apexi air filter with adapter. NEVER been used. 1 x Red Ash straight silicone hose, 70mm internal diameter, 350mm long. 1 x Red 45 degree silicon hose 70mm internal diameter. Also 1 metre of Ramair ducting with Red trumpet end Plus a fabia airbox, bottom half only, with air intake. I was going to make a cold air induction kit for my Fabia monte carlo 2012 1.6 TDI, but have now sold the car and decided not to use it on my VRS.
