Hi guys, just a quick one, I am wanting to do a couple of interior mods to my VRS just to give it a little something different, I already sprayed the air vent surronds gloss black and got some VRS seat belt pads. I've had the chrome heater controls before in my last Fabia and I'm not a massive fan of the 'all chrome' look, I've found these on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FITFOR-VW-PASSAT-B5-GOLF-4-MK4-POLO-SWITCH-KNOB-HEATER-CONTROL-BUTTONS-A-C-COVER-/321931413450?hash=item4af49b87ca:g:0VIAAOSwnipWVrb7 and I know they're for a mk4 golf but I was curious if there would be any way to make them fit? May seem like a daft question but I'm just curious Thanks.

I posted in the MK1 forum the other day with no response so hopefully I can get a reply here, I know that the MK2 seats are a straight swap into the MK1, I've found a set of really nice MK3 (2015) seats and was wondering if these are a straight swap also, if anybody knows and could tell me that'd be great. Thanks :)

As per the title, I'm just curious if the MK3 fabia seats are a direct fit to the MK1, I've found a relatively cheap set and just curious if it would require any extra work to fit. Thanks in advance. :)

All sorted, pretty simple and easy to do, fixed my problem straight away and all my Lights now actually work!

Hey guys, So I noticed 2 days ago that my EPC light came on. It went off after a while though so I thought nothing of it. Tonight at half 10 after I finished work, as I started the car to go home it came on again, and I also noticed that NONE of my brake lights worked. I drive on the M1 to go home so this got me worried. Does anybody have an idea or know what's wrong with my car? All feedback is appreciated! Thanks, Josh.

Hey guys, wanting to get an aftermarket gearknob, I've read around about possible thread sizes and seen a few posts suggesting that there is no thread, just simply a 'push fit + held on with a clip'? Is this correct? If so, would one with thread on it still fit? Any and all advice on this matter would be appreciated! Thanks

Hi guys, had this problem for a few weeks now, every time I cold start the engine, it makes a squealing noise as I'm about to set off, if I let the engine warm up however, the sound goes. I've read up about it and people on several forums have suggested numerous possibilities, ranging from fan belt, to alternator, to clutch. Does anybody know what it could be? It also is more prominent when the heaters are on. I have a MK1 1.4 MPi if that's any consolation. P.S. I could upload a video of it if it would make it easier to identify the noise? All comments are appreciated. Thank you .

I've had this problem ever since I bought the car, but It's really starting to bug me now, the light works when I switch it to 'on', but when I switch it to turn on when the doors are open, nothing happens. Can anybody advise me on what could possibly be the problem? Thanks.

So you're saying the wires needed to power the motor and the switch are already in the door? Also, would I have to invest in new window regulators? Or are the ones already in good enough? (Sorry for the poor questions, I can understand how frustrating it is).
