  1. Just seen the previous two replies from "atalkingape" and "Kindpunx666". I will contact "atalkingape" with the offer of first refusal, since they asked first, when I have fitted my roof rails. Thanks, Sparkgap.
  2. Just an update on this thread, I now have the templates, but haven't gotten around to fitting my roof rails yet. After I have fitted them I will make the templates available for what I paid for them (£50). Many Thanks, Sparkgap.
  3. Thank You, NZ100 and Robjon, I'm almost certainly now sorted out with a set of templates and will update the thread when I have them. However, NZ100 you were right in your assumption that I had already started to dismantle the headlining in my Roomster. I had removed the easy to remove fittings and was waiting for a trim removal tool to enable me to remove the shrouds around the door and window pillars without damage. I will refit everything and await the arrival of the templates. Thanks again for your help and concern. Sparkgap. What a great resource for help, advice and assistance this forum is.
  4. Thank you for your replies, I had seen the threads mentioned. Might have to remove the headlining to mark the drilling positions from below, although this would be a last resort. Cheers, Sparkgap.
  5. Can any forum member help me with this please. I need to buy, borrow or rent a set of LAH770011 templates for marking out the hole drilling locations on the roof to gain access to the pre-fitted captive nuts below. I see that several forum members have fitted their own roof rails so hope there's some templates out there! Many Thanks, Sparkgap.
  6. Has anybody got a pair of Skoda Roomster roof drilling templates (Skoda part number LAH 770011) that I could buy, borrow or rent?
  7. CORRECTION: Sorry, They Skodaparts.com - Bickerton Skoda - sell the roof rails LAH770001 for £112.85 not £105 as I said, (£105 is for the templates LAH770011).
  8. Thanks Rob, I have replied to your PM. Think that I will contact All Electric and see what they quote. A day out in Birmingham might be on the cards. Paul.
  9. Please could you tell me if this is the price for fitting only or to supply and fit? I'm still on to this and have just had another quote (this time from my nearest main dealer, Bickerton Skoda) for £392 supply and fit inc vat. Still seems too much to me, considering they sell the rails for £105 and as a main dealer will have the templates to hand.
  10. Hi Damo, I'm in North Sheffield, Ecclesfield to be exact, seems to be quite a few Sheffielders on here.
  11. Hi Pete, the car looks good with the roof-rails and bars. I have been quoted over £500 by my main dealer to have roof-rails fitted to my Roomster. How can that be justified given the price of the roof-rails and the fitting kit. I was under the impression that it was so expensive because the roof-lining had to be taken out. I would appreciate some photographs of the fitting kit, and instruction sheet. Also what type of paint did you use and is there a rubber type seal between the roof rail and the roof? Anything that you can add would appreciated as I'm tempted! Sparkgap.
  12. Hi, just joined the forum. I came across it while researching roof-rack options for my Roomster. I'm relatively new to Skodas, this Roomster is my first, is an ex-demonstrator bought late last year. I can see that there is a wealth of valuable information now at my finger tips! Sparkgap
