  1. Yeah I agree, for the amount of damaged caused by insurance has actually went up from 1.2k to around 1.7k with me declaring the non fault came with my NCD etc
  2. It does say that I haven't lost my NCD as its a non fault claim, I'm just baffled as to why they have added it to my policy documents, when I called to let them know and I had stated this is not me claiming just informing, the claim of her insurance was settled pretty much a few days after the accident so I had my car fixed etc. But the increase has annoyed me slightly as I didn't think it was suppose to go up
  3. Hey guys I was looking at my insurance policy documents, and I saw on my policy I had a claim on there and I'm a bit confused as to this. In Jan last year my car was hit by an older lady whilst she was trying to park her car next to mine (I wasn't even driving I had been parked up a bit luckily I was in the car as she didn't even know she had hit me) So I got her details and stuff, she originally wanted not to go through the insurance and wanted to pay for the damages, after doing the quotes I ended up claiming through her insurance as she didn't want to pay the money was something like £800 worth of damage. After I got back from where I was I called my insurance company to notify them, encase she didn't want to pay or refused to, my insurance company had put this claim on my policy (there was a £0 pay out also listed) so I'm a little concerned/confused by this as when it comes to renewal for me next month will I have to list both claims on my quotes as non fault or just mention 1 of the claims? I emailed the insurance company I'm with and they are unwilling to remove the claim from my policy so I'm a bit unsure what to do next as I was doing quotes and my insurance has gone up (compared to doing quotes with out declaring my 1 claim) . Thanks, Leprejohn
  4. I don't think there would be much of a difference but check for both and see what you get, I've had a non fault claim from last year, women hit me whilst I was parked, looking at insurance quotes for the new swift sport, cheapest me not declaring the claim was like 1.2k and with the claim it was around 1.6k complete madness, I claimed off her insurance and the damage done to my car was less than 1k
  5. I've ended up ordering the sport, should be about a month or so for delivery, I can't wait
  6. I'm currently trading in my fabia, they offered just over 7k for mine and I owe about another 900 on top which has got added to the finance of the new car. My car has some stuff marks and stuff on it which I don't think really mattered it isn't that bad if I'm honest. I would say get a settlement figure for the finance on it and go to another dealer and see what they offer you for it.
  7. Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was good as I was that is an extra 1k I need to put on the finance It was the new one, so the new 1.4 turbo engine.
  8. Hey guys I was looking at a swift sport today, the dealer had offered me a little over 7k and my settlement figure was just below 8k I was wondering if that was a fair offer or did he just low ball the **** out of me, its a 2015 monte carlo, with around 42300 miles on the clock. Thanks, Leprejohn
  9. My car is on 42k miles, I've only paid £220 for a major and £110 for a minor at a vag specialist
  10. Hey guys I thought I get peoples opinions on the Swift sport, I was thinking of maybe trading in my fabia for a new Swift sport but I thought I'll ask on here if anyone has owned a suzuki, what are they like? Does anyone have good and bad experiences with them? Thanks, Leprejohn
  11. I think it sort of does but at first I thought the swift was ugly but it seems to be growing on me
  12. Really debating a new face lift fabia, or suzuki swift sport
  13. See I wouldn't mind probably doing this but I would rather get the FL as then it won't feel so much that I basically brought the same car twice if I was to exchange my 15 plate monte for say a 18 plate monte
  14. Definitely will be ordering one as soon as they are available to order, shame that they won't have the 1.5 evo engine from the Ibiza
  15. The Monte in the UK at least comes with with mirrorlink, android auto and apple car play as standard. Is it different for you in Slovenia
  16. Does anyone know when this face lift model will be available to order, PCP deal on my current fabia runs out next year and I'm debating if to get an FR ibiza, polo GTI or stick with the newer facelift model. So undecided what to get.
  17. Hey guys I need to get some advice for a warranty claim on skoda. My front suspension has been making a noise whilst the car is underload (driving over a speed ramp) I've took the car to my local WV specialist who's diagnosed the fault and had added some lubrication which made the noise go away for a bit. Now it's came back so I've got it booked in at the skoda dealership I brought the car from abiet 120 miles away from me with a rental booking in the next few days. As I've never had a warranty claim before my car is a 15 plate with about 36000 miles. The garage will charge me I think around half an hours labour to diagnose the issue if it's deemed out of warranty but I thought to ask what are the chances of it being rejected? Thanks Leprejohn
  18. Oh that isn't actually that bad at all, I don't plan on keeping the car I'm thinking of waiting till the new face lift fabia is announced and I might order that They've already been in touch with me about changing but nothing on the market at this time takes my fancy tbf
  19. Don't worry Scott I didn't get it as an insult or a dig, it was something that I was curious off as I did ask the sales guy at the time and he said it wouldn't matter but I wasn't sure if that was just a ploy to get his commission but thanks for clearing it up Thanks, leprejohn
  20. Hey guys I was looking at my terms and agreements and thought to plan ahead. I got a fabia monte carlo when they pretty much came out back in Aug 2015, my agreement was for 12k miles a year however I've done close to 35k now so that averages out around 15k a year or so. When I originally ordered the car and spoke about the PCP I did say I wanted to have the agreement for 15k per year but the sales guy talked me out of it and said I'm better off under estimating my millage than over estimating as it be useless paying more than I need to. As I've never had a car on PCP I want to know what sort of my options are? I believe if I was to hand the car back I would have to pay the millage charges on it so I think its like 4.4p per mile, if I was to say get another car on PCP would they overlook the fact I've gone over my millage? What is your personal experience with PCP if you've faced something like this? If I helps I'm planning on keeping it to the end of my 42 month agreement as I'm waiting to see what new cars come out closer to next year. Thanks, Leprejohn
  21. Hey abaday I have OBDeleven, reason I didn't go for Carista was cause of the cost, looked into odbeleven and alot of people liked it so I tried myself, if you enjoy long coding it works like VCDS does and you can also follow the VCDS guides for long coding, (I've done that myself) and I haven't found something that is different, only difference I can see compared to VCDS is alot of the stuff is not translated but for the price its a winner
  22. Option was never listed in my car, I did buy the ODBevelen device if anyone knows the VCDS guide on how to enable it or could explain to me that would be great
  23. Decided to go with obdeleven as its got all the features that I need
