Will this diagram work for a '10 Octavia Estate?

What about locating the wires that go to the rear lights, blinkers and so on... can that be a problem?

So this is what I'm dealing with, got it from a local used part store. If anyone has the OEM instruction sheet that would be great.

Well, just found out though a local Skoda dealer, that I am unable to use this wiring kit since it only supposed to be used on cars up to 2008. :no:

Yup, later found out that it was only for cars up to 2008, was told by the dealer that I wasn't able to use it. So my main question is, can I still use the universal kit even though I have a car with a CANBUS?

So I just got a towbar from a '07 Octavia, but the wiring is missing some parts. Can I just go with the Universal Wiring Kit (like this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180937735265?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D180937735265%26_rdc%3D1 ) or do I need the OEM wiring kit that costs about £100 more. I won't be towing any big trailers so I basicly I only need the lights to work. Another thing, I have no idea if my '10 Octavia Estate 1.9l 4x4 has CANBUS in it, but I was told that if it did, then this universal kit would not work??

Thanks guys! I'll try it one more time. I replaced the temperature sensor this February so I'm pretty sure it's not it. I had some steam coming from the header tank just when I arrived at my garage when the gauge was showing about 115-120°c
