  1. Thanks everyone. I’ve ordered a newer BT module from a breaker to see if the straight swap works. @AScoff the Mrs has something similar in her Mini. I was all up for swapping the head unit for Apple car play but I just want the calls and streaming really. I only do about 7-8k a year!
  2. Hi all After much searching, I can’t seem to find a definitive answer… I have a 2010 FL vRS CR170 DSG with Bolero entertainment system and Maxidot. The Bluetooth module (5N0 035 730 fitted under the drivers seat works, but the 2010 system doesn’t like my 2020 iPhone. It recognises it, but when I try to pair it says it’s incompatible. Has anyone taken a module from a newer VAG car and swapped them? Would this make the car recognise my phone to control calls/stream media? I’m not excited about spending £400+ on having an aftermarket unit fitted and would like to keep it as standard as possible. Thanks It should say 730B, not have an emoji!
