I recently developed a smell of exhaust fumes inside the car so I started a little investigation as to where it was coming from. What I found was the EGR cooler pipe (I think that’s what it is ) it has sheared on the flexi. So if you smell exhaust fumes inside the car check this pipe first it cost £91 not including gaskets that’s another £7 ish but jobs done diy and no smell of fumes.

I do a 32 mile commute up and down the A19 normally takes 35 to 40 minutes depending on the way I go.

I don't believe in lifetime fill either, I've changed my gearbox oil too religiously my fabia vrs has 102000 miles on it and I've just had to get the gearbox bearings replaced at a cost of £425. Saying that there's no other problems it selects fine so I'm happy hopefully it'll last another 100000 miles

Which kumho's did you have ku39 le sport ? I've always found them quite good I do about 60 mile a day commute.

I'm looking at a pair of front RS3 TTRS calipers for my Octavia 2 running 19 inch alloys I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if these would be a direct fit or would I need carriers for them cheers Lee
