I have had my brand new Yeti for just over 2 weeks and last night I was reversing in the gloomy half light and looking all around me using mirrors and rear window etc, I could see a small wall about 80cms high and the reversing sensor was pinging to say I was close but them crunch..... I had hit a small post that the reversing sensors and me, did not see. The damage is very superficial with slight scratches to the rear bumper and skid panel. However, it made me realise that a reversing camera MIGHT have helped me see the offending post and I know I should have looked before reversing etc... The reversing sensors did not see or warn me of the post by rapid bleeping. Does anyone know if the factory fitted reversing camera can be fitted as a DIY job easily? Has anyone done this on the latest facelift Yeti? It is a factory fitted option too so all the parts must be available. Would welcome your input.

Still want to get my brand new Yeti converted to Australia software so that I can have the large MPH display in the maxidot. I have sent messages to several people on the VCDO list but no reply. Can anyone else help? I am near to Crewe in Cheshire.

Thanks reyn, I just double checked my MFI settings and I do not have any option for changing KPH to MPH. I also says in the owners manual that I can do it but those 'extra' menu's are not offered on my Yeti.

I do hope someone can help me. Today, my dealer told me that they cannot change the software in my Yeti to Australian from UK. I want this done so I can see the larger MPH digits in the Maxidot display. I understand that it should show both MPH and KPH and that changing to Australian means I can choose one or the other. Is there anyone out there who is reasonably local to Cheshire that can do this changeover for me for a fee? Have been told it needs doing on something called VCDS.

I just bought my Yeti on Sept 1 and it has the Amundsen II Infotainment system. Dealer told me I could not have speed cameras and speed camera alerts. Oh yes you can and I have working just fine. I got UK Gatsos and Red light etc but I even get a warning showing the places that mobile radar cameras as used. And all for the sum of just £4.99
