Did you get those android auto connection resolved as I am also having the same problem?

Having just purchased a 1.5tsi scala manual we have noticed a notchy gear change from 1st to 2nd when cold. Car is only 13 months old with 9000 miles. Spoke to a friend who is a mechanic who tells me skoda issued a tpi covering this but he no longer has access to.it. anyone have the tpi or experiencing the same issue please?.

I didn't no because I was more concerned about the software issues I was experiencing at the time.

I recently got rid of my mk4 vrs for many issues really but mainly software. I too had various paint defects. 1 was on top of passenger wing where bonnet shuts down onto and the other was passenger side sill at the rear right by the back wheel. Finished completely different to the drivers side.

Looking at buying a 1.5sel manual. Are there any known issues?. Like skoda but just got shot of my mk4 octavia as I could not stand the constant glitches etc ???

Had high hopes when purchasing my mk4 vrs Estate. Had the car 5 months and already had my fair share of software issues. Heater/climate not loading problems with smart locking etc. Now thinking of selling it back to the dealership.

Can anyone tell me if they have experienced any issues with there keyless entry. Mine always unlocks by placing your hand being the handle but for the last couple of weeks it doesn't always lock when you touch the indent on the drivers or passenger doors.

Used the 12v socket in the boot for the 1st time this weekend to plug a cool box in. All working fine until its time to unplug it. It pulled the centre out of the socket and was a mission to disconnect. Any advice???

Anyone have any idea where to get the 0w 20 engine oil to 508.00 & 509.00 spec ?. Local dealership wants £20 per ltr...

The towbar prep is only a small issue. All this does is gives you a plug in the boot to save the fitter going to the body control module to add wires. The main issue is alot of people sometimes even the dealership doesn't understand the new coding. That is where Telford towbars were amazing because they do it daily.

Its all to do with the sfd protection built into the later body control module. Mobike fitters handheld devices aren't upto date enough to cope with it.

Anybody else used these guys ?. If not you should. Probably the nicest bunch of guys I have come across in a long time. Spotless and very professional premises and staff who take amazing care of your car. Coding not an issue for them as they have all the correct software and not just a handheld device.

Today I have genuinely come across one of the most professional companies I have ever dealt with. After having my towbar fitted by a local fitter who did a great job but struggled with the coding I came across Telford towbars. Booked me in at short notice and after a 1hr drive arrived at the absolutely immaculate premises. The guys there could not have been more helpful & professional. Coding sorted within the 1hr and on the way back home. I cannot recommend these guys enough as it is so rare to come across such nice people.

Does anyone have the white front assist light come on with an egg timer when the vehicle is first started until you pull away ??

Hi all. Had a detachable towbar fitted this morning by a local well respected company. The company used 7 pin dedicated wiring and coded accordingly. Now left with a warning that front assist is not available.. Not happy any ideas ?????

Any idea why the drivers side door mirror glass has visible lines around the perimeter whilst the passenger one doesn't??

As anybody else experiencing a noisy folding passenger door mirror? If so any cures without having to book it in ?

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has had a towbar fitted to there mk4 vrs estate yet ?. If so did the towbar supplier cut the bumper replace the rear diffuser with one that has a pre cut towing flap. My local guy said he cuts them but the instructions clearly state there is a pre cut one available. All advice would be fantastic.
