Picked up my 230 today... Beastly machine, haven't had a chance to really get to know it yet but what I have seen, I like!

Cheers. I ordered from spirit in Dublin, 28th July, build week 37 which is this week I think, I'm really doubting that I'll have it by end of the month but the dealer promised me I would.

Yeah, same here, I ordered heated seats as an extra and I'm certain my spec has bolero only. Have you taken delivery of your 230 yet? I'm still a few weeks away from getting mine. Where did you order from? I'd be interested to know what your time line was as my dealer told me I'll have mine by end of month which seems optimistic compared to the experiences many UK buyers have posted about on here. Wondering if the process is a little quicker in ROI from build to delivery.

First post on here, greetings.... I have a 230 ordered (I'm in ROI) and hoping to take delivery towards the end of the month. Ordered in black, Combi with DSG box. I'm trading in my 1.2 TSI Octavia which I got new last July. I had to compromise quite a bit on spec when I got the car last year due to costs, and to be honest I have had some regrets about this ever since. Coming from a Mk2 VRS I really miss the performance I used to have. Saying that, there's nothing wrong with the 1.2, it's actually seriously impressive for the engine size, but obviously it's not a patch on the old 2L from the Mk2... so when I saw the 230 was released and available on 0% APR... and that it coincided with my annual bonus... I took it as a sign and impulsively ordered it... No regrets, really looking forward to getting my hands on it, I'll post up some photos when I get hold of it.
