Sounds like the stop start. Try switching it off, on my car the button is to the right of the steering wheel, by the light switch. When the stop start has kicked in you'll see a capital A in a circle on the dash screen Sent from my Moto G

Each to their own indeed! Picked up my new Monte yesterday and I love it.I'm really not that keen on the shape of the previous Fabia, a bit too round and bubbly shaped. Again each to their own. My Monte Carlo was in Germany waiting to be shipped to the UK on 21st October, it arrived in the UK about a week to week and a half ago, it arrived at the dealers on 6th November and I'm picking it up on Saturday 14th November. Can anybody confirm the max SD card storage size that the standard Bolero radio will accept? I have plenty of SD size adapters, so I'm going to buy a microSD card, I just don't want to buy one that's too big! Cheers

Is there a list somewhere of the possible tweaks? Those requiring a cable / laptop and those you can tweak yourself via the radio menus. For the cable tweaks I might try my luck with my dealer before I collect my car in the next week or two. Sent from my Moto G

Signing the finance docs for my car on Saturday. Any experience on how long it takes to clear? Dealer says it can take up to 28 days to receive the money and they won't release the car until the full car payment has been received from the finance company! Sent from my Moto G

Goes without saying that I don't expect to rack up £3000 in repairs! I just thought it'd be nice to know that any scratches and dings would be covered, keeping the car in tip top condition. I dare say a couple of hours labour fixing even small things would far exceed the £399 premium so it would probably pay for itself quickly... Sent from my Moto G

As a person frustrated by little scratches and minor dents that appear on cars (usually due to careless drivers in car parks) I'm pondering shelling out for the minor damage insurance that Skoda offer. Apparently it's £399 and covers you for up to £3000 worth of repairs (unsure of the duration but recall it lasts for 3 years), there are limits on the size of dents that they will repair apparently but I think it might be a good thing to have. Does anyone have any experience with this type of cover? If so would you recommend it? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info bud, so it's not bad halfway house to having something like cruise control! The only difference that you have to put your foot on the accelerator but don't need to have it pressed down 75% of the way to go at 70mph! You can almost use the throttle as a footrest! How does the speed limiter work Oni? Can you essentially boot it but the car will only rev enough to maintain the speed you have set? Curious as I semi-regret not getting cruise control on my soon-to-arrive Monte Carlo, as I do suffer from throttle leg ache on long journeys and wondered if you set the limiter if you can essentially rest your foot fully on the gas and not exceed the set speed. Emailed my dealer today to check build date (originally week 48 / last week in November) and he said my Monte is being built this week! Must have had dozens of diesels cancelled I reckon. Mad that it's over a month early. I know this question has been asked a million times, but what's the average time between build and collection from dealer in peoples experience? Sent from my Moto G
