With the help of VCDS I managed to enable the footwell lights menu on the MFD and I noticed something strange happening with my rear for light! The fog light acted like footwell light and when I investigated the schematics in ELSA, I saw that the pin responsible for footwell lights in other SKODA cars is wired to rear fog light in YETI!

HI! A couple a months ago I noticed strange smell from the exhaust system of my Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP, especially when the car was cold. It smells like there is some sugar in the gases or something sweet! I went to the dealer several times and he they told me that there is nothing to worry about!!! I' ve made some diagnostics and indeed there wasn't problem at all. I'd like to ask is there any problem with the catalytic converter which can produce that smell?! Thanx in advance to all the users helping here!

OF COURSE NO:).........I realised that the cable wasn't original after I bought it!!! How should I know that something was wrong, it was advertised freely on the net, I've compared th prices and decide to buy it form there!!!

TRUE! But as i said before the main reason not to buy form you was THE PRICE.....I'm not complaining, I just needed the cable promptly cause the warranty of my car was ending soon and I had some problems with the authorised dealer! Sorry!!!

HI! Recently I bought chinese VAG-COM cable VERSION 607.3 from Ebay and when I connect it to my car which is SKODA FABIA 2004 the program says that "CAN is not ready" although when I scan the car I get message that I have "CAN GATEWAY" controller! So, is it a problem with the "cheap" cable or is it something else?! Thanx to all the users here for the information they're sharing!
