  1. I'd suggest looking at a sister tyre - kleber quadraxer 2 (nearly identical and the firm is owned by michelin). 30 eur per tire saved with little to no differences (same ratings, very quiet, good wear) https://www.kleber-reifen.de/de/Das-Reifenprogramm/Ganzjahresreifen-Programm/Quadraxer-2
  2. Smaller one (like in polo, karoq, etc) or a larger one (like in passat)? thanks
  3. Some news regarding the digital instrument cluster (AID): Czechs say it will not come for MY2019 (Will be orderable on Karoq, Kodiaq (KW36), and even on Octavia (latee this year, KW42). Seems that the Superb will be once again be neglected and will likely get it only in the facelifted version... 1,5TSI 4x4 and 2,0TSI 140kw will get new DQ381 DSGs 1,5TSI regular will remain on DQ200 DSG (not confirmed, but "speculated")
  4. From Czech forums: Production stops 1.8 TSI 132 kW (KW26) Production stops 1.4 TSI 110 kW (KW26) Production stops 2.0 TSI 162 kW (KW26) Production stops 2.0 TSI 206 kW (KW26) New motor 1.5 TSI 110 kW (KW36) New motor 2.0 TSI 140 kW (KW48) New motor 2.0 TSI 200 kW (KW36) All new petrols will have a particle filter. PS. KW is a build week.
  5. No, they are not. Only part under the radiator is covered. The whole engine area and suspension is fully open. The engine is covered if you have a bad road package (underbody protection). I'm 100% certain on this, as the dealer missed this option for my car and had to reorder/retrofit it. BTW. Petrols in Arteon (I assume the passat too) are not covered either. Checked this myself as I'm planning to switch to Arteon.
  6. Yep, same experience here as well. Stock P7s are really crap and NOISY. Night and day with Michelins (ALPIN 5 on mine). I'd also recommend having a look at newer Crossclimate+. Quite, good summer performance and good enough winter performance.
  7. I think in Kodiaq you can actually do it by holding down the boot release button (in car one).
  8. Problem solved in my car. A very large and heavy bone was sitting on top of bottom plastics (I have the underbody protection package). Some animal decided to have lunch in cosy and warm environment.
  9. In my car it sound like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pdwx3rHNrJGY4KhzP9Bkt-xMOWAsYFZc/
  10. Rear left shock absorber was changed today. No difference (as I expected). Mine does this over even surfaces, never on rough roads. A sound is exactly like stuck break pads releasing.
  11. Had that done recently. The official reason: it might have released unexpectedly at some (was not specified which) gradient levels.
  12. Had this from new on the driver's window. Sometimes creaked, sometimes did not. Guiding rails were lubricated but not hellped much. Dealer offered full reassembly, but I was more afraid of side effects on that (likely creaks from the removal of door cards/mechanisms). So decided to wait. Now I'm at 21000km, window is operated every working day twice (I have to swipe a card to enter the parking) and seems to almost cure itself (sometimes still not smooth, but no "groaning").
  13. Mine has developed a random rattle in rear right. 21000km, non DCC suspension (standard, style, petrol configuration). Rubber bushes were checked yesterday and deemed ok (seems to move the same on both sides), they say it might come from a shock absorber, which they have ordered and will replace. Supposedly had two cases like this on non DCC superbs, and that helped. Skeptical (shouldn't it rattle all the time then?) - but will see next week. Will be covered under warranty.
  14. Same here. If they screw up I'll cough additional 5k euro for the arteon.
  15. I think lane assist is needed for vibration feedback?
