  1. 12000kms on my '15TSI so far and no issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Good on you for following through with this mate. I'm a long time lurker here with a a TSI manual in Australia and I must say this has almost made me regret buying the car. Absolutely shocking customer service. It's clear from the way you write you are an educated and well spoken man so I hope you get the outcome you deserve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I've got a '15 TSI wagon 6sp manual. Was decent stock. Added an intake, downpipe and tune and now it goes like it should have from factory. I'm at about the limit of FWD traction tho. 9L/100km around town ~7L/100km highway
  4. AUS owner here.. MY15.5 TSI manual with 4000kms.. JB1 piggy back makes it go like it should from factory to be honest. Found it a little down on power before i added that. Oh and I added a CAI as I love induction noise.. Otherwise can't fault the car yet. Roomy, quick and I dig the looks of the wagon.
  5. I think something is wrong with your car. I have a tuned 2015 TSI and my long term average is 34mpg with mixed city/highway and plenty of fun bursts.
  6. Thanks for the input guys. Already ordered the Injen intake yesterday. Just trying to source where I can get s SAI vacuum plug as like "Supe" said our EU models dont have a SAI hose so its just gonna be an open hole sucking in air otherwise...
  7. Hmmm well I ordered the Injen intake from an American Ebay dealer just before.. Do I need to buy some adaptor then? I hope I can buy the adaptor by itself :-/!!!
  8. Hi all I have a 2015 RS TSI 6sp manual. Looking to add a cold air intake. I know they don't do much performance wise but I actually want to do it for induction noise. I feel you can't really hear the turbo enough. I have come across the Injen intake which you can get delivered from US for about $450AUD My question is, the intake is for a MK7 GTI. I know the RS TSI and GTI share the same engine so is there any reason it wouldn't fit? Are the intakes on both cars identical? Just want to be sure before I pull the trigger and order it.
  9. Tip for all TSI buyers. Do yourself a favor and buy a JB1 tuning box for your car. Self install/remove and no problems with possible warranty claims unlike ECU flashes. You can choose the amount of extra boost on the car. My car fliesssssss now. Felt the performance was a bit disappointing stock to be honest. In love with the car now.
  10. Welcome mate. I'm over in Perth with a 15.5 RS TSI. Have ordered a JB1 tuning box so I can up the boost ~5psi. Will let you know results when it arrives.. I have also done some VCDS tweaks with the help of a member here including closing boot from inside car/remote, very useful.
  11. Nice one. I'm getting the samw. I pick up my manual VRS TSI metal grey with 19" black pack and all the other goodies tomorrow!
  12. Update.. Car is coming early than expected! Due date to dock is 29th October. Then 10-14 days for customs so I should have it in 5-6 weeks hopefully..
  13. Waiting for cars suck. I've seen pictures in other threads of vrs estates with a cargo net in the boot to keep things tidy, do they come standard with the car?? Also mine is coming with the electric boot. Is it electric closing and opening or just opening?
  14. Small world. Can't say I've seen a vrs on the roads here at all..first experience was sitting in one and test driving it at barbagallo. For the price they tick all the boxes though. Hope yours has been going well so far? So tempted to tune it when I get it but I think the risk of voiding warranty is too high. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah they won't be necessary most of the year! I wanted a manual wagon and unless I chose this specific one that was just built I would be waiting 6-8 months for a car. There's only one Skoda dealer in W. Australia so choices are limited.
  16. Hi all I'm from sunny Perth in Western Australia. Was looking for a new lease car and decided on an Octavia RS wagon.. Went with Race blue, 19" black pack, comfort pack (leather, heated electric seats ect) and tech pack (ACC, KESSY ect). Car has just been built so I should apparently expect it sometime in December.. Lots of useful information on this site. Cheers all
