I've taken boost logs with an eBay cable and non registered VCDS Lite, so you should have no problem. (I think I logged group 3, 4, 11, and 20, all separately but I think I read somewhere that logging more than 1 group at once decreases sample rate) Still worth registering though for AutoScan and adaptation in case you ever need it Sent from my PLK-L01 using Tapatalk

I used these when I changed my rear discs and pads the other week: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=281968456598&alt=web They're the 1K0 springs which take quite a bit of force to compress but they fit and do the job rather well. If you try putting the key in the drivers door lock and turn and hold the key in the unlock position then both of your windows should go down. If they move then you'll know it isn't the motors and it should be a switch/wiring problem. So it turns out I'm terrible at using my eyes... Didn't have more than a 500ml bottle of water to see if I could see where the coolant had gone but RAC guy filled it up and saw water pouring out of a hose [emoji4] Time to see how much skoda want to (over)charge me for a new one. And to scare me again, when I stopped off at sainsbury's to buy some bottles of water to keep in the car, I start it up and the coolant light comes on again... Open expansion tank, release the pressure, level back to normal... Probably time to order some pd150 head bolts while I'm at it Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I've had my vrs for about 6 months, and it's not been the kindest to me. Since I got it, I think it's been suffering from head lift (which I only read about last week). I normally don't have to fill the coolant up too often, maybe a little top up each month and when the coolant light comes on I undo the cap and the level rises back up. But after driving about 10 miles today, the engine had fully warmed up,and a load of white smoke came out of the back. So I dropped it into neutral and rolled to somewhere I could pull over and, as expected, my coolant light started flashing and beeping at me on the way. Popped the bonnet and a fair bit of steam came out and the expansion tank was completely empty. RAC are on their way but is there anything this could be other than the head gasket? Cheers, Adam
