Are there any symptoms of conn rod bending which the car supposed to show? -
so this isn't a circuit failure my displays just have to be replaced?
-
The two displays in the instrumental cluster have managed to get the digits faded . They however work absolutely perfectly with all the needles working as they should . Is this repairable also I have known the clusters cannot be just swapped over as they require coding.

The high beam on my skoda isn't working the instrumental panel wont blink the icon too the xenons and the parking lamps works absolutely fine . However today I took front bumper and the headlight off the car and the headlamp switch started working fine and I could see the blue icon on the instrument panel too . I tried connecting the headlamps to car but they wont work also the blue icon disappears from the instrumental panel as soon I connect the headlamp . What should I do. Please help ?

Hey shivadow glad to know I was not the only one in the same dilemma actually the biggest problem or the difficulty I face with my skoda is owning one in India skoda has a bad reputation here and the spares are exorbitantly price here for example the price of a hid ballast here at a dealer is rs24000 at scrap yard they quote anywhere between 6k-16k I had great difficulty and found one at rs2000 that's 30$ We owned many cars till date and this is the first german car we mainly owned italian , japanese and korean cars after owning this car i am pretty sure my next car would be skoda too. Just the shear amount of technology in this car and the way it is built is just remarkable and is a benchmark for other manufacturer a simple horn has a connector socket with a pin to hold it in place I was quite amused to see this a toyota priced twice has just a simple pin to hold it in place which breaks off in quite a small span . hats off skoda as of today I got the car scanned I found some errors I even got the cars A/C serviced which works like a charm I have found some error and will be posting it here . thank you guys a lot

no bro they were not disturbed just we bleed the brakes I have read in a post that the abs has to be switched off with vcds but we dint had one anyways the lights went off by itself and brakes are now working really well. I just might get a new piston for front right side caliper As of now I have diagnosed my car was nicely sedately driven and poorly maintained as if was not maintained by a skoda dealer but a local garage which has arised in many problems my car's sunroof is not working, It has a broken or rather missing breather pipe which goes from valve cover to crank case my horn and high beam fuse are shot . car needs A/C gas refill too and it shows a engine malfuntion light
