I did not want to have anything permanent and keep all original so this was the best method I could come up with 🤔 ..... if you happen to have a similar looking head unit !

Aircon Clean - condensate drain location
9@zA replied to Andacami's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Thanks for the link yes had a good look around and nothing is missing or anything out of place. Spoke to a mechanic, will ramp up the car with inner arch and carpet pulledback down and spray water with a jet wash in certain places to duplicate the leak. Let's see, will report back ✌️- 14 replies

Aircon Clean - condensate drain location

It seems that way in the picture as it is dark and wet in there . The part you feel is the crack is in fact the lip casting shadow inside the hole . Area out lined in blue is a brace and that lip which looks like a crack is part of that brace. The green area is running under the lip and continues behind the brace towards the right. We've had the car jacked up with all trims in and out removed and no breaks or cracks are apparent. Investigation continues 👓- 14 replies

Well water comes in under the carpet from that hole which seems factory but an odd shaped hole with paint all around it and with no corrosion what so ever 😞🤔 I wonder.- 14 replies

Aircon Clean - condensate drain location

Found a hole in the very corner ( wheel side ) in the passenger side footwell which is part of a brace and that is where water comes in. Pulled the inner arch trim out and found a stack of leaves and mud pilled up quite high, cleaned it all out ! Could this be the reason 🤔 Will leave under carpet insulation out and if water still comes in then investigation continues🙄- 14 replies

I'm sure many new will visit this page in near future and maybe would be helpful for them so no it doesn't matter how old the post is. Pollen filter is good as I change it every 6 months only £10 but did found water under the passenger seat carpet and insulation. Seat out and most of the wet insulation pulled out too , will leave it all out to see where from and how much water comes in. Possibilities are endless 🤔- 14 replies

On my skoda superb mark 2 the aircon drain pipe hides under the footrest in the driver side footwell. Footrest piece is held down with a plastic tab and a big plastic screw behind brake pedal, once removed pull the carpet down and you will see a brace which sits on top of the pipe location with some insulation covering the pipe . Brace has 2 plastic nuts 10mm undo them , brace comes out , pull insulation up and you have the pipe. I thought I had a clogged aircon pipe but it wasn't. Investigation continues 🙄- 14 replies

For me it was the pedal itself. There is a sensor inside the pedal and upon replacing it solved the problem. Bought one off eBay £15 ( No word of lie) But yes could be many other reasons in regards to P0121.

Hey JHR8686 . Confirmed fix ! Replacing the pedal and cancelling ( The mechanic insisted to cancel the code ) fault code has fixed the P0121issue for me too. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Had the same code P0121 and EML on. Replacing the throttle pedal and cancelling code error Fixed the problem

Sorry completely forgot to ask, was the peddle plug and play or it needed adaptation with vcd. Thanks

On my bolero there is no factory amplifier so , I tap in to speaker cables at the back of the stereo with a Denison SLi2 RCA converter around £50. ( if you have factory amplifier running speakers then you need to tap in at the output of amplifier with this converter. This converter has no remote IN but it does has a remote OUT . It powers on ITSELF after detecting signal from speaker wire and triggers your Sub AMP ON. I have pinched a tiny mono amplifier from an alpine SWE 815 ,70 watts RMS to run a mazda 6 wheel subwoofer . Also a Sony xms400D 4 channel 50 watts rms x4 running Panasonic EAB component speakers all around. The amps and RCA converters sit comfortably behind glove box on to the side and I am happy to report that the system ROCKS The glove compartment has a pipe running into it blowing cold air ( I think it's there to keep cool whatever you may have in the compartment ) I cut this pipe at the back and point it onto the amps to keep them cool
