I am sure that I am missing something here, but when I try to input a negative Longitude figure, eg -2.894561, theColumbus will not allow me to enter such a figure, also when trying to input the second figure greater than 5 then this is not available also. I am sure that I am missing something but am b******d if I can see what it is.

This morning I went to my car( a Kessy equipped TSI 220 DSG) to find the boot open. The car was last used yesterday at 1030am and was locked using Kessy. My neighbour passed at 0700 and could confirm the boot was not open then. This is not the first time I have gone to the car to find the boot open, the previous time I had persuaded myself that I had hit the key fob in my pocket accidently. Several times I have locked/unlocked the car when patting my jacket to ensure I have my keys. The buttons on the fob stand proud and can inadvertently trigger an action. I wonder if anyone has any comments, I seem to recall this happening previously and has been reported on this forum. On a completely separate matter, two days ago I tanked up with Tesco Momentum 99 and managed to put 67.5 litres into the buggy, the "Range" figure at the time was showing 35 miles so another 4-5 litres was already in the car. I am under the impression that the capacity of the fuel tank is "approx. 66 litres", so I have managed to get 72 litres into a 66 litre pot. The most obvious cause of this phenomenon is a misreading fuel pump. Before I go to Tesco and maybe Trading Standards has anyone managed this trick. Your comments would be appreciated.

Now done approaching 900 miles and am very VERY pleased with my TSI220 DSG, ave MPG to date 32.5. Nothing about the car displeases me, it does everything very well. Quite surprised how well it holds the road, much better the my previous C Max 2l diesel auto. I have always liked the way diesels drive with lots of torque at the low end, but the TSI has really surprised me with how well the engine picks up even if you don't push it. I don't regret moving to petrol one bit although feeding it Tesco Momentum 99 increases the cost a little. I suppose if pushed I would say the road noise surprised me a little, but given that I have 2 32gb SD cards full of music, that lessens the problem. Happy driving

I seem to remember discussions on here about the lack of "Lights On" warning lights on the dash, I noticed yesterday that the Lights symbol on the lights switch (next to Auto) appeared to illuminate when the lights are on and is quite easily visible once you are aware of it. Coming from a Diesel the engine is very quiet, so much so that I use the rev counter to confirm the engine is running. Early days yet, but seems very very promising. Was told should be in this country by back end of next week (Week 7) and looking good for March 1st, even got plate number. Dealer has kept to his promise of weekly updates all through process. Not long to wait now.

Not heard anything about Petrol Blue other than several cases of car turning up in grey rather than Petrol Blue. Also appears L&K are having delays. Still getting close now, not long to wait (hopefully) and am looking forward to delivery.
