  15. News Press release today: MK5 Golf sets Record sales in UK! Read it here: http://www.clubgtiworcs.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=76&mode=&order=0&thold=0
  16. AutoExpress have announced that the New Octavia will only have a slight increase in price over the out going model. So it shouldnt affect sales
  17. Yes it is bad news for VW, not really the Golf as such. The Golf has fallen foul to poor sales in its early month of launch and I think it more down to price than anything else. The New Golf is expensive, but only on paper. With the recent launch and price details of the New Astra, it is apprent that the Golf is only
  18. Thanks mate. Yeah would be good to have a Briskoda Club Display - you may even win the Best Club Display Trophy There should be loads of other VAG groups coming, so please do come along and enjoy the atmosphere
  19. All details have now been finalised and organisation is underway. So make a note of the following: Club GTI Ragley Hall Mega Meet 2004 Sunday 12th September 2004 Gates Open: 10am Admission: Club GTI Members - Adult

We have been asked to sort out the Special Display area at this years BVF 2004, which will be a display dedicated to Club GTI and its Members. 3. Of course we have got to get the organisation started for Ragley Hall Mega Meet 2004. Along with these points, we will arranging a trip to the Club GTI AGM and we will also be starting a Club GTI Worcs Lottery Syndicate for all our regular members Make sure you can come along cause there will also be some spanking cars turning up - from R32's to Octavia vRS and Leon Cupra R's!!! Everyone is welcome. Here comes the Show Season 2004!
  21. The Fabia vRS is an excellent car and you will be hard pushed to find an alternative at such a good price. However, there is the new Seat Ibiza FR which is about to be launched in this country and its a 150bhp 1.8T. Very reliable engine and highly tunable, as all the Octavia vRS driver know. Its gonna cost aorund
  22. Yeah I agree - VW really need to pull their socks up! I have had first hand experience of reliability as my Turbo blewup on the day my car was delivered! Its had only done 50miles!!! Still, that said, VW did get the car back on the road within 36 hours, with a complete new exhaust system including new Cat., new turbo and new intercooler. VW are far from perfect, and with the new breed of cars trying to push VW up into the luxury sector, then they need to get the basics right before they go too far.
