  1. Sorry for reviving an old topic, but I think I'll do the same operation myself. So, there are a few things that you have to remove prior to removing that piece of boot trim you want. Here's the guide I made for myself, and hopefully I won't screw up anything. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9bc5FrmuwbAYTA4Q3gzeUpISms/view
  2. Mine is out of warranty (2008 model, 2nd owner). From what I know it's a wear and tear, common with most hatchbacks. (I have similar issues on VWs, Hondas, Seats, Priuses).
  3. After driving through heavy rain, I noticed that my Fabia had wet rear seats. Upon further investigation I found out that the seats got wet from the boot lining which was wet too, mostly on the left side, plus a lot of water in the spare tire well. I gave it some time for the seats to dry and I decided to test the rear window washing system. After driving around and washing the rear window regularly I found out water in the spare tire well again and a the left back seat was very wet, so I think it must be the pipe that feeds water to the window washing system, plus a visible wet spot on the left side of the boot trim (the green dot in the picture). How can I remove the left side boot trim so I can check / fix the pipe (or hose, whatever it is). I'm pretty sure there's a faulty joint in there and that causes problems. Any DIY guides would be appreciated.
  4. Hi, I'm Andrei, I'm from Romania, and about 2 weeks ago I purchased a Fabia Mk2 from 2008, with only 68.000 km on the odometer. After reaching the fabulous milestone of (almost) 1.000 km with my Fabia, I can declare myself very happy with the purchase. The ride is smooth, the interior is comfortable (much more comfortable than the 2008 VW Polo that I used to drive), and all the knobs and switches are where you'd expect them to be. The only thing that I noticed (which is very annoying to be honest) is that I had a mini pool in my spare wheel well and the back seats were wet. Upon further investigation, I found out that the culprit might be (and I say might, because I'm not 100% sure), the rear washer hose. But this is a subject for another topic. Cheers!
