I am a mobility customer so they had to re-order the car,lease been extended on my 2015 superb in the meantime car now sitting at 61500miles Orders seem to be moving as new delivery date is end of march beginning of April. As most of you know if you have ACC on your car and use it you would really miss it if it was not there. Car was ordered in October so was really looking forward to it but not prepared to compromise on this feature . Garage has offered me lifeshine for free in a gesture of goodwill,to be fair to them they have always treated me well when I get my car serviced .

Informed today that my car which is due for delivery on the 14th February has arrived without ACC 5 seater SE 4x4 DSG 2.0 TDi in meteor grey.I have rejected the car and asked them to reorder it today . Currently have ACC on my superb at the moment so not prepared to do without it

Car been built in week 3 for delivery mid February ,ordered 10th October Meteor grey SE 150 TDI 5 seats 4x4 DSG ,colour multifunction computer/AAC/Trinity Alloys

Has anyone got any pictures of this alloy which is now on the configrator .

Just replaced front pads and discs ,car now done 56000 miles. 1.6tdi DSG

Had my 1.6tdi SE Dsg since Dec and it now has 4300 miles on the clock.using ACC on my commute to work (32 miles each way )I am getting around 55mpg .I too was concerned about the performance against the 2.0 but feel that the way I drive now does not really merit the extra power and cost ,not interested in breaking the speed limit now and enjoy the relaxed drive of DSG.

Went back to work today 32mile each way commute 58.5mpg this morning and 55mpg this evening with my 1.6tdi SE DSG .

No regret in getting DSG ,do not listen to all the so called experts ,let the automatic box do it job in selecting gears and enjoy the benefits of ACC and Hill Hold which work better with an automatic box.

Car delivered on 23rd December came with Zeus alloys ,ordered Stratos but due to the carry on about these alloys and the fact I did not want the Helios .

I ordered the car with a rear wiper and it came without it.On the Order sheet it clearly states that I ordered this no cost option so I would check with your dealer before the car is built to make sure you have it fitted(Now I will have to go out and find some rain repellant).

Picked up my 1.6TDI SE DSG on the 23rd of December and have been very impressed with it performance wise.DSG makes it a pleasure to drive it .Drove the 190bhp when I had a test drive but decided that I did not need the extra bhp for my commute to work ,just good economy and comfort were high on the agenda. Totally agree with eurotraveller on his two points and I can not quite understand why lukas883 thinks the 190 DSG is not quick enough.If you are buying a superb for sport I would suggest you buy the Vrs Octavia.I take it you do not have speed cameras or jam sandwiches in Ireland. I had a test drive in the 190 L&K which was very good but decided to get the 1.6Tdi SE DSG which would better for my needs and performance and I am very happy with my choice .Just switched from a 2.0cdti Insigna and I do not notice any significant change in performance .

Car ordered 12/10/15 1,6 TdI SE DSG Quartz Grey Rear Window Wiper Stratos Alloys but due to shortage Helios Picked up car today No rear wiper(Really wanted this for Scottish weather) Zeus alloys instead of Helios (Very nice alloys really pleased to have them instead of the Helios. First impressions are a excellent car with a good build quanity ,DSG box is a real treat,worried about size of engine as I was coming from a 2.0 CDTI insignia but these fears evaporated on my drive home as the car is very responsive and I felt I had the power when I needed it.

1.6 TDI SE DSG Quartz Grey Asked dealer at the start that I would like regular updates on the order.Car is at the dockside booked for the next available crossing which I believe is sunday .

Just received notification that car to be built week 49 with delivery possible before Christmas or mid January due to festive break. Car Ordered 13 /10/ 2015. Dealer. Advised of change of alloys 1.6 TDI SE H/B. DSG Quartz Grey Rear Wiper (Scottish Weather)

Thanks for your comments and links,Dealer has now informed me of change of alloys and delivery date of end of January.I have picked Quartz Grey for the colour and added the rear wiper .

Hi , New to this forum ,just ordered a new skoda from my local dealer,but have not seen much reveiws for the 1.6 tdi as most people seem to be ordering the 2.0 . I currently own a 2.0 diese insignia and before that a 2.0 skoda octavia.Recently lost my left leg and now registered disabled so I need a car which his suitable for my needs.47 years old now so not interested in breaking the speed limits but wondering that I have made the right decision in getting the 1.6 compared tot 2.0 dsg.Drove the dealers test car 190bhp which was very powerfull,Last time I drove an automatic was thirty years ago when I used to (borrow) my brothers 2.6 Rover and watch the fuel gauge go down when you floored along the standing stone road.
