  1. hi when i took my 2015 2.0ltr DSG 4x4 in for its last service the receptionist confronted me with the question, did i want the the air con unit serviced? Recommended by Skoda to be done every second year, as my service was being done under a maintainance plan i was taken somewhat aback as this was £80 i had to pay there and then. When i got home i decided to look through the maintainance schedule to find out what other surprises awaited me down the road. Alas i cannot find the Information anywhere. i had expected it to be at the back of the drivers handbook but it was not. I intend to dump the main dealer after the warranty period so would like to be able to tell the chosen garage what work i expect them to do. information i'm trying to find is Engine Oil life expectancy gearbox oil ditto Haldex Oil ditto Brake Fluid ditto Timing Belt ditto thanks
  2. As abone. Unless you yourself paid for the computer scan you have no rights to any printouts, However you are being totally misled over the use of the OBCD port. It is there for the use of all not just VAG staff / equiptment. if you have used the port only for diagnostic work and not to make changes to the cars configuration the use of third party equiptment has no relevance on your warranty.
  3. could you point me to any info detailing how to do this please
  4. on the MFD dispay in my car remaining built 11/15 Adblue milage range has always been displayed and once the figure dropped below 3000 aditional informatin such as tank capacity and amount required to refill are also displayed.
  5. Ok thanks for that maybe i'll have another try next weekend. but after recieving a coding accepted message from the vcds i had assumed if it was possible it would happen.
  6. i tried this because i read of someone else with a 2015 yeti. he had a May build mine was built n November. So looks like some can make the change and some wont be able. guess it would be a good move to see whether the digit.speed item is in the MFD before starting
  7. Yes wher i could but item digit.speed was not present. so i'm guessing therein lies the problem
  8. i tried to make the change the MDF to display MPH on my 2015 Yeti. Accepted country change OK but didnt actually change anything in the display
  9. Shop around. But first decide your level of cover. i sat down and decided these criterea, 1. four years cover. 2. brand new replacement vehicle at no adittional cost to me. 3. claim limit of £20,000 then i rang around a few companies who claimed to offer all inclusive policies couldnt meet my spec. i ended up at Frank Pickles trading as GAP insurance.co.uk. cost me £200 for a £28000 yeti. i'm sure others will be similar. oh and remember to see if they offer discounts. my price was with a discount for being a member of this forun
  10. Do you have a genuine vcds cable? if so more textuale help may be available from their forum. If not i have a genuine cable 15.7.3 but i have absolutely no experience in it's use for changing settings as it does not yet support the ecu for my engine. Get the coding instructions you need and i would be happy to allow you to come to me and and perform a scan or do the recodings yourself. i live 15 miles East of Doncaster. Sorry can't be more Help
  11. Dont want to get embroiled in an argument here. but i dont think there is anything on page 35 that explains the message displayed on original posters car. it is also a good idea to remember the manual will have been translated into English from a master copy probably by someone whose first language is possibly not english and therefor liable to have the text missinterpreted. What it says to me personally is should the oil can symbol illuminate there is a lack of oil pressure as measured by the oil pressure switch. A possible cause being insuficient oil or faulty pressure switch. Of course because this switch only measures pressure even should you add oil this wont be recogognised by the switch unless it can detect a rise in oil pressure.
