  1. I had a yellow one and loved it, went to the seat surgeons in York and got it re trimmed in leather as well.
  2. That's what I went for when I got rid of my 3 year old Vrs estate. Only had it a few months and enjoying it so far. I did enjoy my Vrs when I had it apart from the oil usage. Mines was with in tolerance so got nothing done to it.
  3. No I did not, only had for about an hour and was happy with it. I messed about with sports mode and to be honest I wanted another auto box car with a bit of poke when needed and the clio fitted the bill. Even with the Vrs I never used the paddles and won't with the clio, I am happy with auto mode. I have never even used sports mode with the fabia. To be honest if the fabia did not use as much oil as it does I would have kept it for longer and maybe went for another. I have got so used to an auto box and the only small quick car I liked was the clio
  4. I got offered £7500 trade in for my 11 plate Vrs with 33000 miles on the clock, I am changing to a clio RS , I quite liked the clios auto box
  5. If getting a quote from warranty direct don't put your phone number in, I got quote and they keep calling me at least 3 times a day. I have no intention of buying a warranty until last few weeks before needed which is not until the end of May , so why call me just now . This has put me off them and will probably go with skoda. Will the skoda warranty cover the DSG box, turbo, supercharger?
  6. thanks for the replies, will probably go for 2 years with assist I spoke to the skoda warranty company and they said about 5 to 6 weeks before the manufacturer warranty runs out i should get a letter from skoda asking if i want to extend the warranty. Warranty is not up till the end of May so i a bit of time to get something sorted
  7. my vrs is nearly 3 years old and the warranty is about to run out. I have asked my dealer about a skoda extended warranty and they have not even bothered getting back to me. So i am looking at a warranty direct or warranty wise. Anyone recommend either of them, looking ahead i would want cover for the gearbox, super charger and turbo and would not want them going and not being covered.
  8. Yeh let me know how you get on with the st, I had the last st before getting the Vrs and might get the st2 when I change the Vrs when it's paid up next year
  9. Another oil question, has anyone used the Asda branded premium oil in their Vrs, it's a good bit cheaper than the castrol edge I am using and it's hard to tell from looking at the label if it can be used
  10. I had the the same problems with my fabia Vrs, ended up getting the switch replaced and no problems since
  11. Mainly all short journeys for me and get about 310 miles to a tank, still love the Vrs and keeping it for at least one more year,
  12. still having problems with the windows, seems to work fine up until it rains heavily, then the drivers switch stops working properly, the windows go down sometimes, then don't, or they go down and wont go back up. After a few days it then starts working again. Looks like the rain is the problem, but I don't know where to look.
  13. I am having intermittent problems with my one touch windows on the drivers side. The passenger side works ok, what`s happening is the opening of both windows using the drivers control stops working, I can get them to go down holding the button, but not using the one touch. They will go back up using the one touch. I tried resetting them using the guide on here and it did not work, I then booked it in to the garage and when I tried today they seem to be working again. This has been going on for a few weeks in the it works for a bit then stops, then works again Anyone with ideas of what the problem could be.
  14. You can use your voice to control it, press and hold the telephone button and say music, then say play and the music should play, press the button and say next to skip to the next track
