I have an issue with my air con also, I have to turn the dial up to at least 22 Degrees to get any heat to come out of the vents, I did a Diagnostic scan & a fault 'Active Radiator Shutter 1 Stuck Open' is coming up. I havn't gone to Skoda yet, but apparently it's a common fault with Audi's & were replaced under warranty. the hot air blowing out the vents no matter what temp was set happened me last year but the reset tip as Rainmaker suggested worked at the time.

Fitted mine yesterday, It's very straight forward, hope this helps... * Remove 6 screws underneath (can be easily done without jacking up the car) * Press clips & pull Diffuser out from bumper, comes away easy enough * Remove sensors from housing & diffuser is off. * Sensor Housing has to be transfered from old one to new one. They are stuck on using Foam Tape which is a pain to remove from the sensor housing. I found the best way was to put the sensors back in to the housing BEFORE you put the diffuser on as oppose to sticking them to the diffuser & trying to fit the sensors back on while trying to hold the diffuser, but someone else may find the second way easier. I just used Foam tape to back of the sensor housing to stick them to the diffuser. * make sure you push the sensors in all the way so that they are flush. gently bang all the clips back in to their slot & screw back in the screws & you are done!

Do you mean the Diffuser/Exhausts from a Sportsline or the boot spoiler?? If it's the diffuser you are after, Superskoda were selling them in September, but sold too many, so a few of us here are still waiting for our orders with no sign of them.

Spot on Rick, as I said I've no problem with there being a delay but firstly, inform the customer, secondly, apologise & thirdly, give a realistic timeframe.

Don't know if I feel better or worse after that Petr won't be winning any Customer Service awards anytime soon I think....

Just posting this to see if anyone else on here has any info on when these are due in stock. I ordered & paid for mine on Sept 12th & 2 days later was told they were 'dispatched' & even given a tracking number. After 2 weeks of waiting, I contacted them only to be told (abruptly on a one line response) that they had 20 in stock but sold too many & that they will be in again in November. Despite me a asking how can you send someone a 'Despatched' email when you hadn't despatched any goods I still haven't received a satisfactory answer. Anyway, November came & went, I contacted them again only to be told (bluntly) December. Then it was January & the last response was again, bluntly, "due in March". They did offer me a refund but I figured I've waited this long now so might as well hold on as I do think it will be worth it. What annoys me is the blunt, one line responses, not one apology or proper explanation for the delay. I can understand delays & hold ups but why give me dates when they clearly don't know when they are arriving? Is it just me or has anyone else experienced this when enquiring? Anyone here get a bit more info or explanation as to the delay? I've ordered many goods off of SS before & never had an issue until now. I just want to hear what you guys think before I fire off my complaint to them... Apologies for the rant!

Well wear Superb170, the car looks stunning! I see your tyres are Continental as oppose to Pirelli's on mine. How do you find them for noise?? I swore I'd never go back to Continental again after how bad they were on my last Superb...

In other words instead of saying they don't know, they are trying to fob you off. How could there be 2 different versions of KESSY??? Keyless Entry is exactly that!! I wouldn't give in until I had a clear explanation IN WRITING as to exactly what the 2 KESSY'S are...

They are Def for sale as an accessory as I saw them on display in Noel Deasys in Cork. Didn't see a price though. As far as I know there are coupons in the brochure in the dealership which give 20% off all accessories until the end of Jan which would make a big difference if you are buying Alloys. Will you let me know what price you get quoted as I'm looking to change aswell - debating between those Supernova or the Pegasus Anthracite ones...

Rob, the Ambition & Style spec don't have the forward camera unless you add certain options to it therefore you won't be able to unlock TSR using VCDS (as I found out)

It's the interior roof lights that come on when the car's unlocked/ a door opened that we were referring to but yes, you're correct about the door handle lights also...

Apologies for only getting back to you now, I was off line. Just saw the pictures you posted, the car looks fab! That colour is beautiful with the sun shining off it & goes very well with the beige interior. You have the right attitude & sure you have to look forward as you or Skoda can't physically do anything about it now apart from them offering you some compensation that you are happy with, which they have. I'm certain that you will love the car anyway. In regards to what lights up, all the footwells do (& you can adjust the brightness) the door handles illuminate also & they all have a crisp white colour as they are LED's, as are the interior roof lights. Inside the armrest storage has a light also. The inside of the car looks lovely at night IMO. Hope this helps....

You are taking this a lot better than I would, I'd be fuming because (a) of Skoda changing the spec by stealth again & (b) the sales guy should have known & flagged it. The Ambience Lighting really makes the inside of the car for me & that was a big draw for me with the Superb over the Passat. Did your car gain any thing that wasn't in the MY16 Spec?? Did you get a photo of your car Superb170?

That is so weird, the same thing has happened to my wife's Octavia twice this week, not only does a beep sound go off but the radio keeps changing channels aswell. My initial instinct was condensation on the screen but said I'd check here to see has anyone else had a similar experience! I advised her to wipe the screen with a micro fibre cloth when there is a build up of condensation inside the car & no problems the past 2 mornings so far.... so could be just that

I have no issues with my Chrome strips but dealer is bringing my car in to have them replaced under a re - call as well as for a software update for the air-con/heat which I do have an issue with. Must be a lot of complaints from customers about the chrome fittings to warrant a re - call. ..
