Help plz 2007 vrs estate RUST
Turboweisel replied to VrsPoptarts's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
That's weird first time I saw the post it looked like it was in the fabia section, I wouldn't say rust was a major issue on mk2 octavias but have heard people complain of your issue Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -
Fabia vrs pedal vibration
Turboweisel replied to Turboweisel's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
There all fine has been there before all work was carried out, bit of a strange one, hard to pin point. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -
Hello wondering if someone can help, I've got a vibration coming through the accelerator pedal and can feel it on the gearknob and remaining pedals, the cars had a genuine clutch and flywheel, a gearbox recon, dog bone mount, I can't really tell if the gearbox mount is worn, best way to describe is sometime if you dip the clutch pedal to change gear it's like a clunk I don't think it's a gearbox or flywheel issue as they have been maintained, I did notice sometimes when you get the vibration at roughly 2000 rpm and press the pedal, if you rev the car back up to 2000 rpm with the clutch dipped it's near enough gone, it's not as harsh at lower speeds but if you floor it for example in 2nd gear it can be really harsh when you lift off, anyone got any advice? Many thanks in advance [emoji2] Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

The looms slightly longer or the mounting clips are angled better to help prevent broken wires Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Water collecting under door
Turboweisel replied to JD52's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
When new seals are ordered they come as they were on the car, you need to cut the section out of the drain hole and remove the door panel and remove the wax but an air tool is suffice to remove the wax and clear out the holes, more noticeable on a rapid and toledo, not as common on the octavia Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

Also seen the rust where you've saw it, mk2 fabia and octavia had much better paintwork in my opinion Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

A vrs estate 2007? If it's a mk1 then any mk1 I've came across always seems to rust in places, I've came across tailgates, sills, wings, rear wings at the bottom, pot luck Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

Gear change tight 1st and 2nd
Turboweisel replied to Turboweisel's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Sorry I should of stated the oil had to be drained in order to do what was getting done and no that has nothing to do with why it's tight, I wasn't putting the old oil back in Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

Turboweisel replied to Turboweisel's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
I bought the high performance stuff listed for my car through dealer, it's terrible cold and more bearable warm, it wasn't like that before the oil change Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -

Car is a vrs Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk -
Hi guys I recently done an oil change in the box and put the high performance stuff in thinking it would be best for the box as that's what I was supplied, I've been reading up and finding that it's the high performance oil which causes this, is this oil really that bad? Thanks Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Hello, Im new here and looking for some help before I can start enjoying my car and participating more, hoping someone may be able to shed some light on my problems I have what I can only describe as a vibration through the pedals and gear lever, you can feel it on your feet and it's very irritating, I've had a new flywheel, clutch, release bearing all genuine skoda parts, I've had the gearbox inspected by a specialist and they say all is OK, you feel it really bad if your in second gear and give it some acceleration and let off, the pedals vibrate like mad at this point, I've also replaced the dog bone mount, the remaining mounts look ok and there's no major engine movements, I've also deleted the EGR which the issue was present before doing so, done a liquimoly clean through the injectors as well, another thing to note is sometimes when I'm changing gear it jerks slightly as though I'm just new to driving cars, you can't just simply change gear like normal I've had pd's in the past so it's not my driving style, driving me insane I've played about with the cv joints no roughness when moving about all feels good, has anyone ever had any issues like, I think I've got the worst fabia in the country lol Car is standard apart from the EGR delete Many thanks Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
