After much faffing around, mine turned out to be worn out inner CV joints as well. Had both replaced and all is well agian =)

BTW, i recently had some grief with this issue but have no sorted it as well. Mine's a 2.0FSI, 6spd auto. Zero faults in the VCDS, went through fuel cleaners etc, and nearly even sent it to have intake valves cleaned (not a bad thing though). Anyway, turned out it was the inner CV joints. Changed both of them and the car is now driving like a peach. Felt like there was a slight misfire when it was happening, started occasionally, then went on to be constantly around the 2000rpm range.

Hello guys, I'm writing from Malaysia and i just picked up a used 2006 octavia 2 estate. Been very happy with the car overall, have had most of the wear and tear bits replaced. However, over the course of the past few days i've noticed a few oddities. I had the car put through vcds diagnostics and it came up saying that 1, P0441 the n80 valve was not working problem. Secondly, it reported that the IAT was not working. The latter turned out to be a wire that'd be chewed through by a rat. The former however had me puzzled as there was no CEL on the dash to report the problem (i also have an mk5 gti and it always triggers the CEL with a P0441). My questions are: 1) is it even possible for someone to deactivate the CEL? Any ways how i can get it back, opening up the cluster and all? 2) I'm guessing the bulb blown light is just a VCDS code away? Here's a pic for reference Thanks in advance! P.S. Hello there, Has the canbus been sold yet please? What year car is it out of btw? I'm thinking of upgrading a radio in a mk2 octavia i'll be getting shortly, it's an 06 and will most likely need a more recent canbus gateway if i intall the more recent radios.
