  1. All fixed! Ended up taking it to a VAG specialist/auto electrician, turns out part of the loom was knackered, and a wire from the ignition to the ECU was broken. Glad it's back on the road now!
  2. Fuel pump confirmed as working when connected to a battery, pumps fuel through. Also tried that connected to a battery whilst trying to turn the car over, still no luck. Got an Mx5 so that's being driven daily at the moment.
  3. So my 2004 Fabia VRS has been off the road for too long now, I had issues with it cutting out randomly for a second or 2 at a time with the glow plug light flashing, then bursting back into life. Since then it won't start up, it cranks but there is no fuel pump priming noise. So far I've checked/changed: *Fuel Pump Relay *Glow Plug Relay *ECU *All fuses under dashboard/engine bay. Tried a new battery also. I'm thinking it could now be a dodgy fuel pump? Has anyone else had this issue? Google returns loads of the same symptoms, however there's no proper fixes posted up afterwards. I just want it back on the road! A picture from one of the last times I was out in it.
  4. Went for a drive in the Peak District this morning. Spontaneous Snake Run. by Will Ashcroft, on Flickr
  5. Trying next year's wheels on the Fabia. Coilovers fitted today from Dpm Performance too.
  6. Found this guide from google, and I must say it helped no end removing my EGR to clean it! I thought I'd join up to say thanks for the concise guide, and useful pictures.
