Hello, I've another question regarding the 12V sockets, What is the fuse rating on both the front and rear sockets (estate model late 2015). I want to run a portable ham radio from the one in the boot. Thanks Paul
-
Hi there, I will have to replace my front tyres shortly, currently running on the stock Michelin Energy Saver + I would love some feedback on a decent quality tyre as a replacement. Oh yeah its an Estate Octavia 1.6TDI 110bhp. Many Thanks Paul

Pipsypreturns you might be onto something I'm based I'm Ireland. No alarm either
-
Jonro2009 I do not have KESSY just a simple old fashioned central locking.
-
Also I have never seen a warning regular safelock on the dashboard.
-
I'm not, weither I press it once or twice I get the same light indications on the door. Puzzled
-
Hi pipsypreturns the light is indeed flashing, however I can open the door from the inside if the window is left open. At no stage to I get any warnings on the instrument panel regarding Safelocking. Strange..
-
It would appear that it flashed rapidly initially then after about 2seconds blinks more slowly. If I press the lock button on the fob twice I get what looks like the same behaviour. Last night I left the driver's window open deliberately, locked the car and came back 5 mins later and I was able to open the door from the inside . Doesn't seem right...
-
Tried that and no change, strange....any other ideas?

Mk3 Owners + Workshop Manual info

Does anyone have a copy of the maintenance manual for a 1.6 81kw EA288 engine ? -
That's interesting because I was comfortable for a while and one of my work mates asked why my seat was leaned so far back. I find that the rear of the seat has a big dip and its killing me. Two Renaults over the last 15 years and not one problem....

Hey there One month into my new Octavia Estate and I love it to bits. Although I've one small issue. I can't find a comfortable seating position and have for the first time in years got some neck and back pain . Any suggestions would be most welcome, any experiances with seat wedges ? Going to try a cushion for the next while to see if that helps. (feeling old now ) Paul

Hi Guys, would you recommend using a fuel additive on a regular basis or not ? Cheers Paul

2015 Octavia Warning Lights
kirkbyp replied to kirkbyp's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Got home yesterday auto start was automatically disabled and revs at 1000rpm. Took for a spin up rhe dual carrageway and back to 750. Out of curiosity opened the bonnet and my god the heat was mad..... -
Hi there From what I see you can get the 1.4TSI in Combi but you have to go for the Ambition model. €27K though..
-
Hi Guys I've just come across this, if your battery dies completly - you are unable to open the passanger door. If this is true how the hell can you open the bonnet ? For those that dont know - you have to open the passanger door before you can release the bonnet catch.. Really clever if its true. Cheers Paul

Hi there According to my manual if I have a DPF issue a warning light will come on the resembles an exhaust pipe. When I turn on my ignition I dont see this one, there is an engine symbol plus others. Is this normal ? Cheers Paul.
-
Hello Does the 1.6 TDI 81Kw Octavia have a DPF fitted as standard ? Cheers Paul
-
