well i get the money to make a start on it tommorow, had a look at it today and its not half as bad as i thought, little bit of rust on wheel arches, engine bay clean and tyres dont look to bad It felt actually quite alot of fun getting me hands dirty with her again , atm trying to get the daft spolier off her , and as predicted as being, as dificult to take off as it was to put on lol !

hey guys, I have had my felly since 2006, in May 2008 I got a bmw so put the progress on my little beast on hold. So far a good amount of time has been spent on her, but shes not looking her best as been sat in drive since then, recently wrote off the BMW so now back to the Felly. So far i think to get her back to pre car parked condition i need to go get the locks all redone at skoda ( lost the key lol! ) The interior is a bit shabby so after some new door cards as I started ripping everything out at one point as i want to put it down the tracks. Possibly anything that needs to be done after sat up for about 6mths any suggestions guys please let me know.. I got between £500 - 1K to spend on her I was gonna go buy a lpg 4x4 but think money better spent putting her back on the road and then sell her when im ready to get something different. So if you know how best to spend the money on her let me know If anyone knows how much a new clutch would cost as I rekon she will need one and a new cv joint be appriciated while i phone around and get some quotes x Christina

im not actually shure if they sell them anymore either i asked for a set of springs from them b4 and they said the stopped elling them , might have been the cheaper ones although you can get 35mm ones for £70 from a shop up north

ok so imagine this on the way to a roundabout and the car sudenly dies on you as you press down the clutch and brake?? any ideas guys as this is annoying the hell out of me and rather embarrising! I depress the clutch and press on the break, put it into nutral she dies. nuts i know. doesnt happen in other gears although one of the waring lights think its the battery flashes up briefly when i change gear . :-( my baby is poorly and i could cry!:eek:

Hi guys went to kent modded and had SOOOOOOOO much fun, My car was the only Skoda there that I had seen and she did stand out a tad hehe, she was welcomed as well and didnt hear one skoda joke either hehe got some pics here of here of the girls on my car . It is hard to find parts that you can use to mod your car inexpensively so you might have to do a bit of searching and put alot of work in. I have found recently that it was easier to get garage to make me a straight through backbox then buy one off the shelf, and it was half the price. other mods that will help performance would be to put some bigger wheels on 4x100pcd go for 15's not sure if 16's will but think its possible. You can get k&n ait filters off ebay for the car but is a standard replacement for the original one, has helped slightly with the one i have got , I am planning to drill the crap out of my air box below the air filter to help a little more :-). You can put a funnel and tubing to the air filter also comming from fog light grill has put (helps more air get to air filter) another 5mph on the clock. I went for a dtm front splitter and universal spolier but am going to be getting a few bits from here eBay My World - uni_car_tuning not sure what quality is like but seems ok . Also I have been told that renualt side skirts cut and worked on a bit will do the felicia and also a front octavia bumper on the back and back splitter on the front of the car will car on the front of the felicia. hope this helps.

DO you know if this would be compatible with an r reg 98 new shape (skoda engine) felicia 1.3 thinking of buying one if its that good :-)
