  1. Hello everyone, sorry to bring this issue up again, I've been having the dreaded 'Terminal 30 Open Circuit' error message for a few years. I've been putting it off for ages. The car starts and runs fine hence I've not bothered to try and solve it. Originally the car died. I had an auto electrician out to the car who place a short from the relay to a fuse in fuse board under the bonnet. He told me this was due to ECU not receiving an 0 Volt. Since then I've replaced the fuse box, (2nd hand off ebay, told it had no errors) as the EML wouldn't reset causing me to fail my MOT. I've read lots of threads on here, cleaned all the fuses checked for volt drop across them. I'm at a loss now as to what to try next. Any help from you guys would be appreciated. Photo. Of my fuse box. Absolutely love the car, it's space and practicality are the best. For info, it's a 2012 2.0tdi Estate with 150,000 miles.
