  1. So, I'm slightly confused. When I bought my car and picked it up in March I was told on both occasions that it would not have to come back to the garage for 2 years or 24000 miles, to date I have only done 6500 miles and she is 9 months old. I have just got a warning message on my display saying oil service due in x days? What gives? Is this a coding issue or incorrect information from the dealer? I not on any monthly service plan.
  2. How do people find the traction control when having a heavy right foot?
  3. Hi, firstly I love my 220 superb. Mpg wise I'm getting 30 to 34 at best! I'm using vpower shell and leave the drive mode in economy by default and keep it there most of the week. Problem I have is it is too easy to pull down into sport mode or use the flappy paddles, I just love that engine grrr and the power it suddenly delivers, it's very simple to get up to warp speed! Fab engine.
  4. Not sure if people are aware as did see the question somewhere. Is you have kessy you can lock the doors by swiping you hand across the door handle
  5. 2.0 tsi sel exec in black Extras inc Kessy Led package Canton Love it!
  6. Just picked mine up and got home! Beyond happy with it. Will post pictures tomorrow :-)
  7. Noticed my first superb out in the wild yesterday morning. Grey not to sure of trim. Seen at sandringham estate car park, she did look lovely:-)
  8. Mines been at the dealers since end Jan. Picking up first week of March, getting a tad excited now
  9. Same sort of question from me. I have 3 children. 1 in an isofix baby seat and 2 on booster seats I'm currently borrowing a mk 3 octavia and they fit in the back of that but getting to the seatbelts prove to be a challenge.
  10. Cars owned 1990 Skoda favourit x 2 1986 Vauxhall nova 1999 Pug 106 2003 MG zr 2001 Ford mondeo 2004 Renault scenic Rover 214 Rover metro 1996 Ford escort Land Rover defender 90 Land Rover defender 110 2001 Vauxhall Astra coupe 2007 Renault Clio I was going to by a second hand 5 series, Kia Sorento or e class but by complete luck had a new superb as a hire car to go down to London one day and absolutely loved it! Looked at the prices between the cars and it was a no brainier for me. I was willing to go look at a Passat if skoda did not offer a good deal on what I was looking for but they did so I went no further. Other hire cars I've had in 2015 inc a3 saloon, q3, Astra. I still preferred the Superb. I've got an octavia from the dealership at the moment on loan, it is a nice car but as a lot of people already mentioned the superb just seem that bit classier and a bigger!
  11. My car arrived at the dealer in late January. The dealer called me to have the option to wait until March for a 16 plate. I was tempted to take the offer but that would have left me without any mode of transport. The dealer got round this obstical by offering to lend me demo cars. This was a no brainier to me so I took the offer. Had a city go and now got an octavia. They even offered to come to me to carry out swap overs of cars if needed. I'm not having to pay for my superb until I have it. Demo car is only costing me petrol. My superb is locked in a secure area away from general public. I have asked the dealer twice if my car has to have any repairs after being transported and advised no. I also asked if anyone else has decided to wait till March and quiet a few are. If skoda uk are charging the dealers after 10 days of delivery it must cost walkers a fortune! But the would not be out of pocket I'm sure. My sales man has been great thought out the whole process, I have no reason to think the wool is being pulled over my eyes and would happily recommend walkers at Kings Lynn.l, Will is my sales man. I'm getting this sort of customer service, I'm happy and they are getting good reviews from me. Obviously the dealer must have some other advantage of waiting till march for me to collect my car but I'm not sure what. I get a 16 plate, yay! Please note this is a British thing.
  12. The wait was suggested by the dealer first. My assumption is to help play with sales figures? I did want it a asap to be fair as borrowing discovery off family until mine was ready. It's costing a fortune to run. Any how, have to give the disco back in Feb so dealer offered to loan me car to allow me to wait till March. Most appreciated, seems win win for all. Dealer has been good from point of order, will be writing review once car collected on them.
  13. Personally I would (and will) just get a mobile broadband data card. Same feature as having a sim in you car bit this can be mobile with you and not just in you car
  14. Car is at dealers. Dealer has agreed to loan me demo car in Feb so mine can be registered for 16 plate. Not liking the extra wait but like the idea of getting a 16 plate..6 weeks and counting!
  15. yes please for a diy. For 90 quid sound like a no brained!
  16. So what are people getting out of the 220 tsi please?
  17. So, in reflection I may have missed a trick and actually wanted a revering camera? To late to change order as car is at the dealers. Anyone got ideas on part numbers if I want to fit it myself and how much hard work it maybe? It's on the Columbus stereo. I've installed car stereos and speaker, dubs and amps in the past but not cameras
  18. So... My car is at the dealers but been given the option to have now or wait and register for a 16 plate.... Think I'm gonna try and wait
