  1. They were offering 4750 but I have seen dealer forcort prices over 6K. Probably me being over ambitious as previous cheaper cars I have always managed sell alot higher than WBAC.
  2. Can anyone please help I have advertised my 2011 2.0 110ps fwd yeti elegance on gumtree and then failed to sell on ebay. Its only done 68k (mostly long distances) but just not getting any Intrest even at £5500. Has few age related marks but mostly been garage stored. What do you feel its worth (getting a 2015 150ps 4x4 with a dsg next week with 11k for £9,000 (private sale) again been garage stored from new just needs a cambelt and add a towbar). I don't need 3 cars.
  3. thanks all managed to silence it
  4. I am sure its obvious but how do you turn of the beeping on the touch screen- driving me crazy when passengers decide to scroll though all the music on the SD card.
  5. Lucky you its 13 degrees and spots of rain here in south somerset, also very windy
  6. here are the decals however it says it is best to use wet application but it has to be over 18 degrees (looking like a spring job)
  7. Mine have arrived now but need a warmish day to clean the car and fit them
  8. wont be when I pick mine up on Monday (was a delay in the new one my friend ordered), have not seen any other teenagers driving them
  9. Will order them, any idea of best colour for my corrida red Yeti. I was thinking anthracite grey.
  10. I am looking at getting these to help protect the paint on the lower doors along with extending the mudflaps etc, as use gravel road/track 3 times a week. http://thesigns24.com/en/automotive-decals/19-skoda-yeti-replica-side-decals.html As for £16 inc delivery they seam very reasonable, has anyone else had them if so how durable are they? I know someone had them from Skodadop.com but cant find them on there are do seam a lot for a sticker.
  11. Did that with my old car, for the yeti i am building an open ply box (for back seats up) that hinges down to protect the inside of the boot door and bumper. The front then folds forward for when the seats are down so it bridges the foot well. started it as need to move my BSA stationary engine and air compressor (overall 60Kg) occasionally and will protect the boot for moving logs or dump runs. Will ad pictures when i finish but will take some time as there are a lot of hinges and joints to fit the shape of the boot.
  12. Insurance on My 6n2 polo was £1000 (being 18 rather than 17 helped) in first year then drooped to £500, The yeti is £600 thats because the more valuable car is considered to be looked after better and is based on average age and crash stats.
  13. got it down to £600 with a named insurer for 8,000 miles a year, a friend used to pay £1800 for a £300 Nissan micra.
  14. Exactly, saying that I found that a Golf etc would be a downgrade from my old Polo as need to move wood and steel for my projects some times, and I can fit 2 bicycle in the Polo despite its size It was worth buying car that I could get a bit more in and still get in small carparks. Insurance will still be about £700 but considering its almost double the power and 10 times more valuable than the Polo its only £200 more.
  15. Will do same if you are around the Yeovil area (south somerset) as people can come round when we are working
  16. Thanks Jim Looks like that will be worth a trip have not been there
  17. Drive an old Fowler shunter and project managing some wagon restorations (so much rust and rot). http://www.yeovilrailway.freeservers.com/300815.html
  18. Hi All Collect my 2011 Yeti on Wednesday. Anyone down somerset way.
  19. bring up an old post, but my Yeti arrives on Wednesday a 2011 110ps elegance; only done 10,000 miles and kept inside. Must be the youngest Yeti owner at 19, surprised me insurance was not much more than my old 1.4 Polo. My friends think I have gone mad but unlike them I will be able to get down the rutted back lanes without grounding.
