  1. Check also your blow-off valve , many starts failing after remapping because the increased boost pressure. You will have boost problems like you describe if it starts to fail.
  2. Since you have low turbo pressure you have a leak somewhere . I had the same problem with my 1.8T 150HP caused by a bad 710N valve which gives you low boost and bad acceleration. If the valve is too bad the ECU reads gives you 17608 error on VAG COM. Change it , I had only 25.000 Klm on my octy when the problem starts.
  3. Are you shure that this is not a immo problem ? If you are sure that is the ECU then ask the guys on the company that flashes your ECU about the backup of the original file from your ECU(the original program that comes with the car) they must have keep one on their archives. If the serviceman saids that no communication occur then the best way to resolve this is to remove the faulty ECU and send it to the remap company for check. They must be able to remove the flash memory chip onboard and reprogram the chip so the ECU can work again. If it doesn't works then you can have a faulty ECU. Do it before spending money for a new ECU. Best regards.
  4. I own one Octavia model 2001 and I'm looking for possible swap of the instrument panel with one with maxi-dot (Like Octy VRS) or mini-dot ( like the Octy L&K). Has anyone the part numbers of these instrument panels ? Anybody with an Octy 2001 AUM engine that had change it ?
