when it comes to differences in A7 and A7 FL, are there any related to suspension? I am driving A7 preFL and I have driven a FL version with same engine and trim. Drive was much smoother over the small bumps with FL version.

Didn’t wanted to open new topic, so I will take this one from archive I have had same impression with my MY15 Octavia with 205/55 tires on 16” rims. I have had to change Continentals to Kleber to have a little bit smoother ride. My friend has bought FL MY18 model - and there is much difference! Much smoother ride in the city. Have they changed supplier or done some change in FL model? What are the experiences with FL models?

Thanks for the info preFL LED and FL lowline LED seemed to me like same ones, just with some software option that has been changed. And I was wondering and trying in VCDS to find out which one is it...with no luck.

I have noticed that there were several options of LED taillights for Octavia 3: with double thin LED lines with single thin LED line with "stylish" LED line What seems to be the difference between one with single and double LED lines? Are they different part number or it is possible to disable outer LED line using VCDS? I have playing in VCDS, wanted to decrease light of outer line to 0, but didn't manage to do so...

I have done coding described in this forum to activate cornering lights on Octavia MY16, and it worked. But cornering light work only when lowbeam is on, not when DRL is on (DRL bulb is located in inner part of headlight). Does CL works along with DRL? If so, can it be activated?

Hello, has anyone managed to remove and install back DSG shift knob? I slide it back to the metal rod, but can not connect plastic rod to the button used for changing gears. I have searched the manuals attached, it seems it could be described in 34 shift mechanism, but I haven’t managed to find it. Thanks!

Hi tygger, info provided looks very useful. Just wanted to check related to swap, you have just removed halogen ones and bolted LED/xenon ones and plugged-in existing cable? No other modification than SW ones are needed?

FYI - if someone else had same idea I wanted to duplicate my key, and tried to take new shape key fob (like from Octavia 3) with no luck. As explained by locksmith, there is a different system in place (transponder vs. emulation - if I remembered correctly). They are not compatible :(

Not sure it is compatible with Superb pre-facelift? There was a topic where it was mentioned that O3 and S2 pre-FL are not fully compatible (some of the buttons were not working after the swap). I have ordered mine from superskoda.com and it worked straight swap. Ordered wheel fro superb pre-FL was different than one for Octavia 3 and superb 2 facelift.

TLV, that is generic photo, so not sure what exactly is on it, but on my original keys sticker is stating end numerals of chasis (VIN) number.

Has anybody thought about changing key fob? Thanks That's what I had in mind, to match stitching with chrome! It was little bit strange to park with flat bottom steering wheel, but I've got used to it after one week. Very nice feeling, much better than ugly old 3 spoke one.

Hello All, just to confirm if I have thrown away the money ordering 5E0419091 AF CWE from ebay? http://www.ebay.de/itm/121687682538 I have been reading some other topic on this forum and neglected to note that steering wheel swap from Superb II DSG 2011 is only possible with steering wheel from Superb II restyling (not with Octavia III)? it can not be swapped? :( Cheers

Hello, is it possible to fit Velorum rims from Octavia III (6.5J x 16“, ET 46 w. 205/55) on Superb II originaly with Luxon 18" rims (7.5J x 18“, ET 46 w. 225/40)? Bolts alignment seems to be same, but I am not sure about centre hole diameter for Velorum 16" (on 18" rims is 57mm) and also is 6.5J fitted with 205/55 tires ok? Cheers, Dejan
