My regrets about the Karoq are fuel economy and performance. I have gone from a Superb Estate 2.0 150 TDI 4x4 to a Karoq 2.0 150 TDI 4x4 (both manual) and was hoping for better fuel economy and performance but I have neither! The car feels really sluggish and the fuel economy is consistently 4 to 5 mpg less on the same trips. I feel I have to keep pressing down on the accelerator (even on the flat) to keep it up to speed. I have also noticed it seems to rev a lot lower than the Superb and that I'm almost always under 1500 revs so tend to drive in 4th gear everywhere... Having stated the above I do think the handling is on a par with the Superb and its equally quiet. I thought I'd miss the Superb but in truth I don't.

I have just renewed my insurance for my 4x4 150 Superb Estate with quotemehappy (Aviva). With no extras it was £197...in the end I got it for £250 with protected NC's, zero excess and hire car. I find this fantastic and better than my previous Octavia! Admittedly this isn't for business just the usual pleasure and commute to work,

I've just finished my first tank of diesel and the trip computer recorded it as 43.5mpg, I calculated it at 44.5mpg....overall on the trip computer it shows 41.5mpg! Its early days yet and still Winter (yes I know its unusually mild) so I'm hoping for it to improve a couple of mpg over the next 6 months or so. 90% of my driving is to work and back (34 miles round trip) on a mix of town, country and dual carriageway roads. For comparison my previous Octavia Estate 1.6 TDI averaged 53mpg on the same journey. I'm driving a 2.0 TDI 150 Estate 4x4 so I don't think its too bad but was hoping for high 40's....

Lawrence You are correct, when I adjust the volume when the announcement is on it reduces and reflects in the corresponding Announcements volume. One thing I hadn't appreciated was that it holds independent announcement volumes for each source e.g. FM, DAB, auxiliary input etc... Mind you the setting I made yesterday had reset itself back to 11...will wait and see what they are set at tomorrow morning! Cheers.

Hi everyone I have a query regarding Traffic Announcement volume. I turned TP on a couple of days ago and nearly jumped out of my seat when the first announcement came on as the volume was extremely loud! I realised that the volume probably needed adjusting as in my previous Octavia but couldn't find the option on my journey...I have now checked the Bolero manual and the setting should be under Sound -> Volume -> Traffic Reports but I don't have this option, the first one listed is Announcements. I have set Announcements as low as it will go from default 11 to 3 but it has made no difference to the traffic reports!! Anyone else have this issue or know how to sort it? Finally get my car today (SE 4x4 TDI 150 with Grey interior). Glad to see it had the specified Stratos alloys and silver roof rails....not sure why I got them when others haven't? The Grey interior looks fabulous especially with the Quartz Grey exterior. The weather is really bad here so just one pick of the exterior, I'll get some of the interior when the sun eventually comes out! It has taken me 14.5 weeks in total from ordering to pick up today, not bad really...

Car has been built and is now at Emden reading for shipping.... Ordered 25/09/2015 Accepted 29/09/2015 Confirmed Buld week 50 Built on 6th/7th Shipment date 23/12/2015 No idea why it takes 2 weeks to ship but looks like early January for me....so will be about about 15 weeks from start to finish.

Just got my confirmed build week of week 50 for a 4x4 SE in Quartz Grey, dealer reckons I should get it the end of January. I ordered the car 25th September. I decided to go for the Grey interior, anyone else gone for this? It will be interesting to see if I get the Stratos wheels and Silver roof bars....dealer has not told me about any changes to my order!
