Hello all, Was just wondering if anybody had came across their inlet cam chain tensioner break and if so what symptoms you had? I have obviously looked on the internet but was just hoping someone here had the issue. My car is an 07 Octavia vrs 2.0tfsi Regards Scott

Hi everyone, i have noticed a problem on my 2007 octavia vrs tfsi where it is idling high, hot or cold, looking at about 1500rpm. it will sometimes drop but not always. was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or experiences with this? cheers scott

Hi all again. My battery needs replaced so I have bought a new one but I want to know if I swap them will I loose my electrical settings due to not having 12v?

Yeah I was lucky went to the garage and they diagnosed it for free cause I'm quite friendly with them plus one of the mechanics has the diesel version. It showed up the left rear. It just seems that parts are now coming to the end of its life but I don't want to get rid of the car

Yeah pin - striping does look good, seen a black octavia with the red and green pinstripes on the grille just below the vrs badge and it was a nice subtle touch

Hi all. So far this year I have spent a small fortune on my octavia and was wondering if that is normal for the skoda. Just this week I have a power steering light on,abs,tyre pressure and ESP lights on. Apart from the PAS light are the others connected to a sensor in the wheel bearing? (Wheel dependant)

This may sound like a silly question but bear with me.lol is anyone here using a forge adaptor instead of a whole dump valve unit with an induction kit?

This help is all appreciated so thank you. I have looked at the ram air one and also a bmc one its just a tough decisio but the ram air does sound like a pretty safe bet if I can stand the noise.lol
