  1. Thanks, but I, think you missed the point. We understand why it has a 50l tank, its just slightly strange that I can only get 40l in it at empty. My old fabia had a 45l tank and I got 48.2l in once, I had been playing fuel light bingo for a while. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  2. Apologies for the thread resurrection, but I didnt want to start another thread. My 50L fuel tank, so far, 4 fills from at the point of the reserve light being on. So far I have only managed 31.62L, 40.19L, 35.56L and 38.57L I would love to be able to get more in than this, the range would be far better between fills. My old fabia had a lever at the fill neck where I could vent air, I cant see anything on the Octy like that though.
  3. I've always used ALA.co.uk, 5 vehicles now. I've never had the misfortune of having to actually use the policy so I can't comment on service etc. Prices are always competitive and reviews are good. Don't forget 12% quidco too. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  4. I love my topaz brown, black interior here though. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  5. I'm waiting for travall's to be available, not long now hopefully. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  6. It attaches with Velcro around the sides and clips around the three headrests. It's made from a woven plastic/fabric, waterproof. Seems hard wearing Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  7. Here's my Titancovers boot liner installed. I am quite chuffed with it, cut and fits well. I just need to fiddle with it to smooth out some of the creases. I got it from their eBay store, you get all the 'extras' from their website (boot flap, split seats) including in the £77 price. Just need to get a proper dog guard sorted now. 8. Hi, Picked up my new elegance yesterday and once home realised that my front assist radar unit in the lower grille doesn't have a dome fitted. I am left with a very expensive and delicate looking piece of electrical equipment on prime position for stone damage. The brochure seems to suggest this is the standard fitting, it looks very fragile to me. My brother in law's golf with the same system has a black polycarbonate dome over the unit which seems more practical. I could swear earlier brochures showed the same on Octavias, but its seems to have changed recently? Anyone else concerned by this? Photo below.
  9. Due to collect on Tuesday 15th October, ordered Tuesday 6th August, 10 weeks all in, not bad!
  10. Collecting mine on Tuesday, happy days!
  11. I do wonder how they allocate shipping/transport etc, it seems to be a real lottery Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk now Free
  12. Mine was week 40 build, now sat at Grimsby awaiting transport to dealer
  13. Now sold Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
  14. Thanks for this, interesting reading. Does anyone else find it interesting that for a supposed 'economy' brand, that for the new A7 Octavia, 2 of the top 3 models by volume are the top spec with the biggest engine. Myself contributing to that volume. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
