VrsPoptarts replied to VrsPoptarts's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Perfect! that worked haha. Saved my day, thanks -
Evening all, I got a warning on my dash today for a faild bulb and i found my front passenger side front parking light was off. So when i got a chance to look at it i found the filliment was still intact in the bulb, puzzled i looked at all the lighting fuzes even the ones in the cabin under the drives side dash. I found no fuses had gone so i thought i will try a bulb, as i had a couple of spares. Sufficed to say non of the bulbs i had spare work and im left with no passenger side front parking light. Please help. Ive just had it serviced i dont want anouther bill

Hi guys My mk2 pfl vrs tfsi has started making a ratteling noise from cold intermitanitly. It normaly does it imediatly after starting and will stop when the car is turned off and on again, mabey oil inst getting to it quick enough? Any who my mechanic freind mentioed it might be the cam chain tentioner behined the vacume pump on the fuel pump side of the engine. Before i go booking it in for somthing inevitably exspensive, does this sound like something you guys have dealt with. Thoughts please.

http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-II/Octavia-II-RS-04-08-original-RS-front-bumper-spoiler This is the splitter I want to get. Never bought anything off these guys though and its very pricey. They have the studie-rs+ rear defuser as well. I must admit the front seats in the octavia don't feel very supportive. Especialy if you are bit chunky like me haha. My dream seats would be the rs4 seats if they wernt so damn expensive haha

Cheers, From a distance haha. Front bumper and bonnet pushed back and buckled Thanks to a phesant from the previous owner haha. Plan to get that fixed when I get my hands on the studie-rs+ front splitter. I do want to lower mine eventually but my current insurance said no. In meen time wheels are getting refurbed sooooon.

Awsome!!! Are they more supportive in the corners than the vrs ones? And do they bolt straight in?

Looks awsome mate. If you don't mind me asking where did you get these ones, and what size are they??

Oh right I've seen them they look pretty good. You can get a hear shield for them as well I think.

yher the previouse owners didnt look after the car at all. had it for a year and have spent nearly £500 putting it right, ive only had it a year. well to be honest mate ive noticed the good makes are hella exspensive for the compleate kit. i have some parts in my garage at home so all i realy need is the intake pipe and thats it. and i found 2 examples that are cheap and i can just use the pipe as i have a k&n cone filter in the garage and chuck out the cheap filter that comes with it. i mean tell me what you think dude this is i would say my favorate ive found. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351936398335?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT im probably going to get a lot of beef about this haha cheers

Yher mine is currently equipt with an engine cover. But it has a huge crack in it so will be going to a nee intake soon. So the red ones might look good
