Did you notice a big difference in the light I see the wattage is the same I've read on other threads tho that they produce more heat unless I'm looking at two different things I can get a normal run of the mill bulb for a fiver but if these ,engined make a massive difference do t mind paying the extra

Hi guys I've recently had to change both headlight bulbs but just bought ones from local motor factors Now one of the bulbs has blown already after a month I'm looking at osram night breakers or Phillips xtreme I don't want anything to powerful for the car and risk anything burning or melting but would like the best crisp light possible with a tidy lifespan Any help would be appreciated as I currently look like a motorbike driving in the dark I've got a 2010 Vrs estate Thanks Dan

Hi everybody Looking for your views my 2010 octavia Vrs diesel has just ticked over 60k I've owned the car almost a year now and had no issues with it other than the air conditiong pump going I now need to do the belt and water pump I've been offered by a local garage who have stated if buy the parts they will do the job for 160 cash but with no warranty as it will be off the books... The other option is have it done through the books for 393 with a years warranty Or for 465 go with skoda and gets year warranty Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the belt and prices etc..... Hi guys My 2010 octavia Vrs diesel is due a service I'm looking to get it done independently and supply the parts myself What is the best engine oil and filters I've been looking at getting the Mann filters or Bosch Apparently according to motor factors there's two different types of fuel filter for my ccar as the housing unit could be different ?? Hi all I've recently just had a. 2010 vrs estate with a DSG box . Had the car for a week now and drives lovely . I've booked it in to skoda for the DSG oil service as it hasn't had one and car has ticked over 50000 miles . I can here a rattling noise coming from the wipers when they are not on but when they are nothing ??? Also there is annoying squeaking noise coming from the rear but can't find where from don't know if anyone has had these issues. Can anyone recommend anything else that needs doing on the car as previously had a 320d estate and had nothing but problems so don't want the same with this one. I've looked at trying to have my going home lights and leaving lights activate but can't work out how to do it on the maxi dot any help would be appreciated as this is my first skoda and appear a bit lost Thanks in advance Dan

Hi guys Waiting to pick my first ocatavia on Friday. It's a 2010 vrs estate with a dsg be. Just wondering if anyone had or knows of any good warranty company's that you can pay monthly to cover the car and more importantly the box. I've driven the dsg box and loved so went for it but you here so many story's about reliability with them looking to get it covered just in case Thanks all Dan

Thanks all for your answers the cream sections on the seats aren't in the best place butting finding one with just black leather was hard so went for the normal vrs seats
