  1. Obviously it is down to your personal taste. My personal favourite was Audi A4 (b8) with 30 mm lowered s-line suspension and 255/35/19" wheels, so I like it quite stiff and responsive. I have a 280 combi with DCC + 19" rims. I almost exclusively use sport mode with DCC. For me sport mode is the best combination of comfort and feel. To test suspension I usually drive over speed bumps at moderate speeds, cars with good suspension can go over without hitting too hard and on the other hand without too much extra bouncing. Both Audi A4 S-Line and Superb DCC in sport mode will pass this test. Comfort is too way too loose & wallowy for my taste and will make me sea sick. It also fails my speed bump test by few extra bounces, normal mode isn't as bad, but will also produce some extra bounces. Only positive side of comfort is that it feels slightly less noisy, I am willing to trade better ride to some extra noise. As such I don't have much use for DCC and would probaly go with sport suspension if it was an an option. It is also cheaper and has less parts to break.
  2. Mine was built on March 17th and I haven't noticed any extra noise
  3. The door lights were easier, just need a small flathead screwdriver to pop the original light out, mine came out in two pieces, plastic cover and base piece containing the bulb. Boot lights for the combi/estate are in the boot "door/lid", not inside the boot like in the superskoda pictures. Removing was as easy as with the door lights, just use small flathead. Superskoda replacement LED lights were slightly too large for the opening, so I had to carve out few mm of plastic with carpet knife to get the lights to pop in. From outside the boot LED lights look exactly like Octavia LED lights, but wiring/plug is different and Octavia LED light does not have correct plug.
  4. The only noise I am looking forward of hearing: me knocking on wood, hoping for good luck with my rear suspension
  5. I've done about 600 km with my new 280 TSI 4x4 Combi (with DCC) and I haven't noticed any noise from rear suspension. According to VIN the car was built Mar 17th 2016.
  6. The price list also states that you cannot combine PFB (sport suspension) with PFC (DCC).
  7. It is stated in the Finnish accessory price list. http://web.skoda.fi/lataukset/uusi-superb/superb/skoda-superb-lisavarustehinnasto.pdf PFB=sport, 15 mm matalampi maavara = 15 mm lower ground clearance PFC=DCC, 10 mm matalampi maavara = 10 mm lower ground clearance
  8. DCC is already 10 mm lower than standard, sport is 15 mm lower than standard, so there is only 5 mm difference between DCC and sport.
  9. My car wasn't locked for production, so they were able to switch the seats to black leather. It seems that they have ran out brown cows, local importer said that I might get my car faster with black leather. Also changed Moon White paint to Quartz Grey, after two Candy White Octavias I originally wanted something different, but with brown interior only Moon White looked good to me.
  10. At least here in Finland the configurator now shows black leather as an option for the 280 L&K model. I am still waiting for my 280, so I emailed my sales guy asking if it would be possible to switch from brown to black interior. No reply yet.
  11. Not exactly the combination you were looking for, but close: Moon white Superb estate with Phoenix 19" (non-silver L&K version of the rim) http://m.nettiauto.com/skoda/superb/7702275?vifAdCount=79&vifNav=Y
  12. The light fixture for Superb III combi boot lid looks very much like the boot light fixture for Octavia III. I have a set of Octavia III superskoda LED boot lights and plan to test them when my Superb arrives.
