Well Looking at 2 possibles at min Hyundai tuscon and kia sportage when it arrives in showroom. Would like volvo xc40 but that also the 40k issue I did consider the octavia but think it's too small compared to the superb and the interior finish is very plastic. Why am I changing basically cause I couldn't take the hit out of warranty and also rules around our car allowance criteria. At present I'm in no rush but the fiance quotes on the tuscon prove way cheaper than skodas quotes.

Well it's looks like it could be the end of the line for my time driving Skoda. I have had 2 mk3 Superbs both have been great cars but skoda have out priced themselves and with 52 wks to order not looking good. And to top that I wanted to go to the iv s3 bit that means paying good old Boris £490 a year in tax. Well looking at Hyundai and Kia Hybrids now see how they fair up before ordering. Such a shame I've loved my S3 and more so my sportline plus.

Ride is a little more harsh on the 19s but still holds the road well, The VC is an option sportline+

So picked up my new SIII Sportline+ in meteor grey with the supernova wheels today, it has replaced my SIII SEL Manual. Now I never have had an auto gearbox let alone dsg and flappy paddles. But jesus is it smooth and does it pull oh yes it does not that I have opened her up yet. The virtual cockpit looks awesome and whole car feels much better than my 2016 model. Smiley faces all round from me.

Another Superb just ordered sportline plus cant wait looks way more up rated than my sel Only downside I chose meteor grey lmao.

so ok went and test drove a DSG, yes it is smooth and yes i did order the dam thing in auto DSG just hope i did the right thing so heres to superb no.2 ........ The test drive one had no paddles i hope the sportline dsg comes with them not sure tbh.

I have been trying to spec a new Superb Sportline TDI 150, it seems even though that the skoda configuraion tool on the website says it is a valid spec i have now had 2 dealers tell me i cannot factory order a manual 2.0 150TDI car only option is now Automatic which i really don't fancy. Has anyone else that this experience of this a blip in Skoda build possibly as the facelift could be due shortly ?

As my SIII is coming near to the end of its pcp, I am looking at changing to a SIII Sportline Plus, just had an initial quote via the skoda store website but never seen or heard of them before so anyone used them before etc... feedback welcomed Thanks

I think they thought I would, they thought wrong then said we can knock some off and make it £550. Funny 10k later they still on the car and only just becoming in need of replacing. And that's at 36.5k .......

Was that front , rear or both as getting to point that all mine need replacing skoda quote near £680.

Hi All question just lately I have noticed that when the boot opens on my hatchback superb and it gets to fully open it has a long bleep, opens and shuts fine but has never done this till now. Any thoughts or is it visit dealer time ?

My mk 3 2.0l 150 has been advised by dealer that the discs and pads on both front and rear are worn and required replacement, 31k but the quote is something stupid like near £700 to replace , so I’m look for advise on what type of aftermarket brakes people have purchased. I looked on euro car parts they list lots of models but I a, wondering if the Bosch discs and pads are the way to go ? Or are there better or as good cheaper etc thanks

My mk 3 is around 2.5 years old now only has 31k so far, it has 12mnths left on PCP, no sure what residual values are like on the TDI range yet but has anyone replaced there first mk 3 yet for a newer version and was it worth it ? thanks

So had the engine management light appear yesterday at 29 3k miles. Dealer I purchased from really didn't want to know or assist with any advice but I went elsewhere instead, they recommended calling Skoda assist and have it recovered if needed. So I did and low and behold Mr AA man turns up and shows me this in the photo before following me to dealer as he felt he couldn't achieve anything on the drive. Anyone else seen or had a fault like these ? If it is even a fault.......

I use Spotify a lot on it and also tune in , waze also works but have never used that,

I am currently looking for 2 on front I had to replace the original p7 ones due to a side wall blow after clipping a kerb and couldn’t find one so went with mich primacy 3 tbh not impressed have worn out badly done 16k and are at 2mm , so just looking at some khumo which I used to have on the Mindel and they were great I have found a local dealer for 98 but need to check which they are selling me. M8ght b worth a look

They but it’s the rubbers that appear to be the cause skoda have some type of glue fix but mine hasn’t worked, thinking it’s actually the dealer who just can’t do it right......
