Hi guys, I have a 2007 octavia VRS 2.0 TFSI BWA engine. I managed to smash off the post lambda sensor after mounting the decat pipe with the lambda point down towards the road ! ( silly ... school boy error ) This was only after it was on for a bout 6 weeks where all was well up to that point After that I had P0139 and P0140 errors .. sensor 1 bank 2 slow response etc. I replaced the sensor with a £90 one from euro, no good. bought a £20 from ebay ... no good ... so I got a genuine one from volkswagan at £152 !! ... still no good ! - meaning I get error still and VCDS doesnt show the sensor or resistance at all From the connector on the car side I am getting 11 volts for the heater and 0.45v for the sensor, that appears to be in range. I have checked the sensor and I have 9 Ohms for the heater that appears to be good. The sensor side of the lambdaI seem to get open curcuit ... but I assume that is because the lambda wasnt plugged in whenm I tested it I have also tested the voltage when plugged in and can confirm the heater is getting 11 volts. ( So I think I can cancel out a dodgy connector and Im sure a genuine sensor is good too ) So Now I am left with wiring going back to the ECU or the ECU itself. My best guess is I have shorted out the wiring when I smashed off the sensor and possibly the heater wires has touched the sensor wires. and blown a track off the ECU. But I need to test the wiring to the ECU first before I venchure down that route. Does anyone know the pin outs for the Post lambda sensor on the ECU please. ...??? Many thanks

Ibe taken out and cleaned the fuse box. It had some water in it. .. cooked the fused box for 30 mins in the oven at 80 c. .. hopefully thats sorted it. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

hi guys. Im ttrying to get my aircon running. First I had a high pressure sensor error ... which i traced back to the wiring was streched and croded, repaired that and erased the fault. mI have no errors in VCDS but the aircon does not kick in. Im trying to locate the aircon relay, if anyone could point it out in a pic, or tell me the relay number id be greatful. I have the v ersion 2 fusebox.

hi, having a bit of trouble with my 07 VRS. ( BWA ) found at 0030h last night the alarm was going off ... when I got to the car the hazards were flashing and the fan was going off. so i unlocked and re locked the car ( and said good night to it ) car seemed ok. In the morming I find the fan was still cutting in and out and the battery is flat. The main fuse box cover was left off ( as I was working on the aircon system ... but thats another post ! ) and it was raining when i used the car later in the day. I need help and advice please Thanks in advance for your comments.

Yes i am looking for a good smooth gear change also particulary when its cold. I have had good results with fuchs titan .. in other gearboxes

I have an xtrons, 609tx i think. I only have the Torque app on there at the moment. I do use A2DP on my phone so that I can get spoken txt messages !

I want to know about this also. I thought they were h1/h8. I have osram night breakers in there ATM. They look yellow compared to the xenon s and the led side lights I have. Does any know if I can add fogs to come on with full beam with vcds ? Pre fl. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

hi guys, Ive tried to add the instrust gauge sweep on my 07 ( pre FL) but I odnt think i can do it, the option in the adaption is not thier. - can some one confirm this please? I have also tried to get the Coming home lights etc, but it comes up with an error " this appears to be and uninitialized control module " - I take it that means I cant have the option ? thanks guys.

so Id like to make an update to my post. took the car in the the dealship i got it from, He is gong to replace the rear wiper motor as its fooked. :clap: He has looked at the errors and he said his garage cant find anything wrong with it , he says he has checked the pipe work etc cleaned out the diverter vavle and all is fine. he then tried to fob me off and say it could of been chipped ! - ( I said no way, if anything it think its a little under power. ) Used VSCD and found the errors were back again, but no light on dash. It difficult to explain, but i think there is an air leak somewhere. When driving and WOT , if I ease off at mid revs, it seems like the engine carries on, with no engine braking at all, then after a couple of seconds the engine braking seems to cut in. - Ive not driven one of these before, so it could be just me or some skoda wizardy going on. I also hear a kind of air leak until I press the brake pedal, then it goes away ..... cant beleive it came out of the factory like that ! any thoughts guys ..??

hi ya guys, thanks for the replys. I have managed to reset thetyre light. I had the car parked up .. checking something else and pressed it. .. first time it didnt work .. but pressed and held it .. and then I got the "BING" sound and all good ! - thanks guys. thanks for the advice. I also went to the garage, and they arew going to replace the rear windscreen motor. They also said the 2 faults im getting could be a crack/split breather ..? anyway they said they will fix that too ! I have bought so odds bits for the car, LED set for the interior, a replacement gear knob ( the silver bit that has the gear numbers on ) , I have also got a set of Osram nightbreakers for the full beam, and the all important cam follower fore the high pressure fuel pump.

hi all, I have finally got my new Octavia mk2 VRS on an 06 plate. Its already going back to the car dealer that I got it from under warrenty as the rear wind screen wiper motor is intermittent, and leaking water like an old kettle ! I need a new EVAP canister ( I have cheacked the breather and it looks new and is connected. ) 2. I need a new diverter valve. I will let the dealer worry about that though, as I have a 3 month warrenty with it. I also have the tyre pressure light come up and I cant get the bloody thing to turn off for love nor money. Reading about it on here ( Really helpful btw ) Its an ABS monitoring system sensing wheel rotation rather than a bluetooth in the tyre sysem sensing pressure. Trouble is, I cant get it to turn off ! ( help ! ) .. Ive pressed the button to reset it. tried it while Im stationary, and moving, no joy. if anyone has any advice then please let me know ! Lastly I have a stereo question please. I have the Steam system with MP3. with a 6 disc changer in the boot ... I actually quite like the system and think the radio reception is great ! , I would like to know if I could swap the 6 disc changer for a BT system , as I dont like CDs but really Wanted BT for my phone .? If not , would the Bolero system come with BT or is that another module ? Also is there any chance of me adding an AMP on to the current system ...... " its all about the BASS ! hi all, I should be getting my 2007 Octavia VRS 2.0 TFSI this week, and Im eagar to get stuck into sorting out common problems before they arise. I will be doing my own servicing on the car, and I will be doing that as a first point of call. including a full inspection of the radius arms and suspension. I just wanted to know if there is anything I should be looking at, like the diverter valve, and isnt there a cam on the fuel pump that is prone to going wrong ? Is there anything else I need to look at ?? all comments welcome please.
