Hey guys looking to get a new motor in the next month and I will be part exchanging my Civic Type R so I cant buy one off here unfortunately. Looking at a mk2 vrs and read the later CTHE engines are better than the CAVE engines with the oil usage. I have spotted a CAVE engine with the recall done but was wondering if you experts can cast your beady eye on it and check from the ad if something isnt right as I am not 100% clued on them at the minute. Hey all Being a Jap enthusiast, mainly Honda's I have now sourced a new job that requires me to do a lot more motorway miles and putting my sensible hat on I need a diesel so looking to get a Fabia vrs hopefully. Will do some research on here to see what to look out for. Previous car history if anyone is interested: R reg 1.0 Polo (first car for ins purposes) L reg civic esi (Fast and Furious inspired teenage years) L reg Starlet Turbo (nice pocket rocket) 02 reg Golf GT TDI (had two jobs but never got on with the car) 96 spec Integra Type R (best car I have ever owned) J reg civic esi 07 Civic Type R GT (current car) Anyways I hope to learn more about ze germans and see what happens in the very near future.
